Okay, so I've seen over the last week or so people saying "Gangster missions are getting so boring and old, let's move on."

 

Well, a PM from someone saying "Don't make gangster missions, they're old." I replied to him....

 

Gangster missions aren't bad or old. It matters who the designer is creating the missions. If it's a good and creative designer, the missions will still be great, even though they are gangster missions. If it's a bad and simple designer, the missions aren't going to be good. It's not so much the type of missions, it's about how creative and interesting the missions are.

 

I thought I would let everyone know, because they AREN'T getting old. You just have to be creative. It's the "Go here, kill the ballas" type missions that are getting boring, not the gangster type itself.

You can't seriously miss the guy, I agree with KaRzY6! The guy brought the whole DYOM section down!!

The issues, bad name, and dislike existed long before him and will remain after he is gone. He just served as a figurehead and a prime example for those who did not side with the section.

Try to check the text with notepad++. Maybe it crash because a wrong spell. Ex: It'll crash(without message) if you wrote +y++, or y+ in the game. It's always happened to me.

Only Gta VC, for me, is the greatest GTA

Im thinking about making GTA III:R not only DYOM powered, but also total conversion using LC2SA and one of talented modelers here ManDog who has converted many models from original game to SA smile.gif.

 

That way, we could release it with big boom smile.gif.

Maybe i could even get someone to port those missions to actual SCM file
