Today, for the first time in my DYOM career, I overwrote a mission that was in the process of making.. By accident. A pretty decent 81 objective mission that was close to finishing. I am not angry, I'm just very disappointed. Very. f*ck.

Same thing happens to me ;cc

 

What we could use is an update to the DYOM and just add an option like "Do you want to overwrite the mission?" or "Do you want to save the mission?", that might... save us.. somehow.

Don't you worry about it. You already know how to do it, it won't take as long as it took you before.

 

Look always on the bright side and it'll be okay. I usually slow down a little when i have to save the mission, need to be careful not to miss-click anything.

that's why I now save my missions in two slots... just in case, you know.

Lol I save the mission on atleast 3 slots to be sure I always have a backup. I had that issue a lot in the past. Either that or I won't save and the game crashes, BAM progress gone.

Hey guys. Am i the only one having trouble in doing moving helicopters? Because i wanted to do a friendly actor go in a point in the air and he just stands still on the ground. I did this:

1. Spawned an actor, friend, enter nearest car - normal speed.

2. I place a routepoint but i didn't move, i just went high up.

3. I placed another routepoint, this time a bit forward (where i want him to be).

 

In-game: he just enters the helicopter and stands there.

had that many times, just edit the route points/change "driving" speed

I never use routepoints to make helicopters flying high, maybe using "Follow player" behavior could make it work.

I always liked your horror mission packs, like the Dillimore Curse (my favorite) and of course, Ghost Ship. Gonna try the demo right now.

• The husband faked his death, and soon the wife to haunt their former boss and manager
• The boss, Frederick did not take responsibility nor any actions (like taking care of the insurance, funeral, etc) for the couple's son's death, he didn't care
• The Manager is the Brad dude in the document
• Brad won the Manager rank unfairly (bribing Frederick (and maybe other employees?)), the husband knows this and tries to give the proof of evidence to some other guys, Brad knew this and tried to stop him but he didn't stop, then Brad heard about an experiment who needed a human volunteer, Brad had contacted the couple's son personally (as they met before) and persuaded him to be the volunteer (he said that it would help his parents) The son died in the experiment
• Brad has some connections with the mafia
• Brad hides the ripped page evidence at his house, Claire and Jimmy would go to his house and take it later on.
• Brad decided to kill Frederick later on (him and some other mafia guys), as he was the other guy who knew about this
• Frederick would later acknowledge the investigation and becomes worried and turns on Brad, He got worried that maybe he would kill him and tried going into some protection
• The Case would end with Frederick visiting the couple's grave, asking for forgiveness as they haunted him even more. Them he finds them still being alive, then being attacked by Brad's mafia guys, Claire and Jimmy would stop the attack then later on the couple will take Frederick and maybe arrest them?
