This is how I like to play Dyom missions...HD!!!

In other news, I'm about to upload the full 2nd Chapter of Brie': The Assassin. If you haven't played any of the missions yet, I would like for you to try both packs and give me feedback (if you don't mind using mods and making a backup of your peds). I'll return later with a link and maybe a few more screenshots if anyone's interested.

Don't you just feel that DYOM has some of the most amateur users?

 

I Mean, DYOM is so easy to use that anyone who can play GTA, will be able to design at least a basic mission.

Look at the community.

 

-Most new members are kids from the age of 10-15 years old.

-Most of them have horrible grammar and spelling.

-They don't know how to use BBcodes or at least make their topics look nice.

 

And Why The Hell Do They Type Like Everything They Say Is A Title Of A Mission?

 

also since they are kids, they over use the word "f*ck" (This mission is f*cking awesome!, f*ck you!, why are you not f*cking uploading part 2?, this bug is f*cking sucks!)

 

Why can't we have a decent western user who (Even if is a kid) can actually use common sense and behave.

(Or at least any new user with good designing skills & good grammar)

I'm so sick that i don't even know what i'm doing.

While I agree with you (I guess you meant 'immature', not 'amateur' though) there's no need to be rude to them. Yes, they don't speak English as good as most of the older members, yes, they overuse certain 'bad words', and yes, they mostly are 10-15 years old. BUT. Look at your older self. Weren't you the same 2 years ago? In fact, we all were (well, most of us for sure). Give them some time, they'll learn everything eventually.

 

And yes, I realise I contradict myself, but hey! People change.

While I agree with you (I guess you meant 'immature', not 'amateur' though) there's no need to be rude to them. He only changed in terms of maturity. Still the same-ass annoying user everyday, and even more annoying because he thinks he's an amateur now and he can criticize newbies as much as he can.

Guys, Target13 has a point. When I joined DYOM, it was 2009-2010, and back then the DYOM section was full of proffessional designers with awesome mission packs (storyline feature wasnt there yet). I was there since DYOM v4 and I was really enjoying how many awesome designers there were. Their mission packs had at least decent English and the story made sense. And most of them were not above 15, but still, their stuff made sense. Now look at what we have today, the biggest part of the audience and the designers are not above 15, but their mission packs and storylines are a poor excuse for one. Back then, when DYOM prospered, the DYOM Missions section was used only if you were very confident about your mission pack, because if it was utter crap, you'd be very criiticized. All these sh*tty things went to DYOM.gtagames.nl, and they were never uploaded here. Now, what we have is that a mission pack topic is started for every 5-mission mission pack, which isnt just short, it's absolutely terrible, the story hardly makes sense and the designer can hardly speak English. I wish these times were back.. When playing other peoples stuff was actually fun, not a torture..

 

And people who were there back when I was will still remember TonyCJ. And JetJatin, who at first, was a spammer and bad-attituded one as well, but then he changed ,and damn, I miss that guy, And at some point, I really miss TonyCJ as well, because DYOM were united as one fighting him, and apart from the spamming he done, he made some decent missions...

Might I also add that these missions also are fairly popular for some reason.

Saw a mission that was full of spelling and grammatical errors (even the title of the mission was misspelled) and it had 7 comments. I mean, look at those mission packs out there that are near perfect and have hardly any attention. It's not very fair.

It's because people are lazy and are focusing only on their own MP's. They create a topic about their MP and they don't care about others. And so almost all of the topics have from 1 to 7 posts.
