Yes, Mattatatta created Codename: Zulu and Infection: The Tale of Mark White.

I feel like continuing Infection or making a Codename: Zulu 2 but sadly he isn't here to give permission.

It wouldn't be good if someone alters it, Mat always plans the story and propably he has the script. But one thing i'm sure of, is that the ending would be very similar to The Walking Dead Game, either He comes and finds that Rose got infected or He's bit when he nearly found her

But damn, i just, i can't believe how he got everything planned like that. If it was me i'll propably just write down the basic idea. But he on the other hand, got every detail, the environment, dialog is just perfect.

 

I really hope i can design missions in the same quality as his.

You got no skills to make a mission as good as Matt. But if you'll succeed, you'll be remembered for a long time.

Yeah what SF said. No offense man, but that will take a skilled member, i still didn't play any of your missions, but i doubt you're any close to complete that mission perfectly. However, i won't stop you wink.gif In fact, i'm supporting you on this.

 

After some research, i found out that "Ol' Bessie and the fisherman" was nearly done by Mat. He encountered some bugs on it so he published a WIP version for troubleshooting, here's the link for it.

That file was not compatible for v7 and the bugged part was the fisherman's routepoints while on Bessie.

TYVM for the help and support, Zizo008. I started one before you posted and it's about 88% finished.

EDIT: For those who want to know, mission will span 45 objectives and will be released probably tomorrow.

2nd EDIT: I know i am not a good designer enough to do this, but i just want to try. icon14.gif

Yeah i guess your right. But i think it's okay if he makes that mission, afterall it was nearly done by Mat, the rest is a negative. I mean if i thought i'm going to make Ol' Bessie my self, i wouldn't have all that rich dialog on my mind TBH. It would ruin the series.

 

Chips, wouldn't it be better if you make your own mission-pack? You can make it as in the same apocalypse as the one in Infection. I myself have thought of doing something like The Walking Dead, though i have to wait 'till i complete Special Ops, which would take alot of time... whatsthat.gif

Okay then.

Any of you would have said it sooner, but none of you did.

And Zizo, i won't make a mission pack for now because i don't want people to say i'm a horrible designer etc.

I have thought of making a zombie apocalypse mission pack, but there were like 3 others and i'm not making another one.

If i do make a mission pack, i can't make the logos, etc. because i don't have good picture editing software like Photoshop.

I'm thinking about making a mission pack on GTA: United 1.2

Name: "Most Wanted"

Protagonist: Zane Walsh / Patrick Norrington

Antagonist: Unnamed drug lord known as Codename: SKS

Setting: 1989, Vice City & Liberty City

Story: As a former drug dealer for a corrupt drug lord, you have to prove yourself as being innocent and not the "Most Wanted"

Mod(s) required: GTA United, ofc. 1.1 is okay, but it is recommended to use 1.2

Guys, I have got a new idea. This will specially be effective for war type/ secret agent type / squad type mission packs.

 

Here, I am talking about the villain who is trapped in the terrace of any apartment, building etc. He will threaten you that he has worn a jacket embedded with bombs and will explode if you kill him.(You can actually make it possible.)

 

1)First add his threatening dialogues by whatsover method you want. (Like timeout, or remote car explosion, or by having die animation of remote objective actor.)

 

2)Add the objective of killing the boss.

 

3)After this objective, spawn 'explosion objects' all over that terrace / closed area.

Done !

 

So as soon as you kill the actor, explosion objects will spawn and it will seem like the bombs embedded to him have blast off.

 

The only way to kill the actor without dying is to get away from that place and killing him by long range weapon (Like m4 or rifles) or even rocket launcher.

Also make sure the actor cant escape that area by using blockades otherwise he could follow you and wherever you kill him, only that blocked area would blast and that would look weird. sarcasm.gif

 

 

 

Also, I had uploaded some files in GtaGarage around a week ago and still the files havent received confirmation. Is there any way to achieve the confirmation faster rather than waiting ? confused.gif

I really want to do some designing. I'll have a think about continueing one of my old mission-pack, or start something fresh. I'm really missing the old DYOM feel.

 

Btw, I'm going to commentate Jimmy_Leppard's old series, The Story of Leon Ridge. I know that AznKei has already done it, but that was years ago, haha. The reason I want to commentate this is because it was the first mission-pack I played and pretty much the reason I started using DYOM (as well as AznKei's videos). It would be fun going back and playing those missions again.
