I eventually managed to pass the mission by binding it to the Space Bar, but any other key I tried binding it to did absolutely nothing, even though Shift worked fine outside of the mission. I encourage everyone to play this game too, it is the best out of the driver series (at least way better than 3 and parralel lines). Sometimes, I wonder why don't EA invest themselves in something this simple yet awesomely fun on their titles? Driver SF manages to have awesome list of cars, a great storyline, the ability to Shift and the addictive multiplayer. Oh, and the 70's soundtrack, too. Of course, with a certain challenge in the game, and The Film Director, you can make a certain obligatory homage to the most well-known car chase scene ever. And here ya goo. Worse when I'm driving a Corvette and I'm only going 40 mph because he won't shift gears. Something like a Pacer is hair pulling because they're already slow as is but now it's like 15 mph with them. I've restarted the game several times, cleaned the laser lens on my Xbox and cleaned the disk with a soft cloth. They didn't do anything. It was fine last time I played though it was from 2014. But I treat my games well and they're always physically good. It's impacting my experience something fierce. Anybody have any idea what could be wrong? I tried searching for similiar problems however my search failed. Do you know anyone that has an Xbox? I would try it on another console to see if its just you Xbox. The story is weird as f*ck and arcade-like gameplay but the graphics and music are excellent and the driving dynamic is a fantastic twist once you get used to it. @D9fred95, can you get another copy of the disk from a friend or somewhere? That will help narrow down if the problem is your disc or your console. Failing that, if you take your disc to a games store, they will test it for you. I don't know where that is. --------------------------------------- Ok, luckily I still had my original Xbox back from before I bought the Elite. The game works fine on it so thankfully the disc is okay. I used both my old and current controllers and it's fine with them too. So it must be a console issue.
