Chinatown Wars
it's one of those games which don't have repetitive missions! Oh god I hope your not serious. Not that its a bad thing(all driving games have them), every chapter had 5-7 different missions. Once you completed those and the chapter, the same type of missions would appear. Like the racing one where your the Asian kid.
Moth
it's one of those games which don't have repetitive missions! What? The game had repetitive missions, every game has them. It still is a great game though. Also am I the only one that would "cheat" in races? What I mean is shifting into another car and ram my opponents, until they "retire" Formerly known as The General

Kimd41
Hmmm? I don't remember repeating any kind of style of missions, except maybe Race missions. All the missions were kind of different and fun and didn't seem repetitive. And I'm, the kind of guy who gets bored with a game if it gets repetitive in the first 1 hour of gameplay. How about the protect the truck missions where you had to tow the police van to the destination and protect it? There were a couple of those. And the bomb under the truck was largely used, where you had to defuse the bomb under the truck by driving your car under it. The bombs were quite over played too, as it was a main thing in the story too. Also the police chases. Besides the last couple chapters, there was always a police chase mission where you had to flee from the police. Vise versa too.
Menaced
I got the collectors edition for my birthday today and I've been playing it all morning. I must say, I'm really enjoying it so far. I love shifting into Police cruisers and chasing suspects down cramped back alleys, then quickly shifting into some big rig and blocking them off at the other end. I can't wait until I unlock more parts of the city. Is there any form of waypoint/GPS system in this game? So far I've been having to pause the game and look at the map in the pause menu in order to know where exactly to go, and I have to keep doing this to remind me of my route. It can become quite tedious at times. I'm planning on doing a huge trip across the entire map once I get it all unlocked, but I may have to cancel those plans if there is no GPS system. Daz
Does anyone know why it wont let me upload larger videos anymore? I have 3 queued up to upload but it wont let me. It says the max size is 1 minute, yet I have uploaded ones up to 1 minute 20. The latest one I did it would let me upload to that size, but the one I did the day before wouldnt. Is it something to do with the graphics and in closed in areas like downtown you get more space? Because this is f*cking me off. I have the best video and it wont f*cking let me. If I had a program to merge two videos together id just upload each part separately. I deleted all my videos off their server as well just incase. f*ck all. This is as much as I was able to upload: Edited October 6, 2011 by Daz
vertical limit
Great driving, I like the amount of smoke created.
Jacko427
God, I love this game. The driving is damn nice and smooth. Slipping is the best things with American muscles cars. The smoke is awesome too, it doesn't make the game lag. Tho'I have one question. How do I save the cars I bought?
*MURDOC*
Once you buy it, it's in your garage forever, just select it. Anyone got any tips for the "breaking objects" dares? They're a pain in my ass.

They're a pain in my ass. How about a motivational speech instead? Don't give up. You're a winner. You're destined for greatness! There are no real tips. If you run out of time, drive until you find a place with many object to break (like an alleyway) and restart the dare. That's how I finished most of those dares. AceRay
Anyone got any tips for the "breaking objects" dares? They're a pain in my ass. I just drove down footpaths really fast. Also, alley ways can have some good stuff in them in the top right bit of the map.

Benzoboy
What Papanesta said, and also for the one or two that require objects found in alleys only. Go to Lombard Street, that's classed as an alley and all the cones on there count
*MURDOC*
Thanks guys, I totally didn't even think of the divider cones even though I had an epiphany about them earlier lol.

I knew I couldn't be the only one who discovered this... It's bloody brilliant. There is a huge row of them on the northern side of the Golden Gate, if you follow the road up further. gtathebest4ever
I completed the game and started a New Game Plus thinking it would create a separate save file, but it seems to have overwritten my completed save. Does anyone know if there's a way to get back to my completed save?
Algonquin Bridge
No, but with New Game + you keep all the cars you've bought, the city remains fully unlocked, and you can keep doing the challenges you've unlocked. So you can do all the Story Missions again, but with all those lovely fast cars!
DustyRider
ehh... looks like everyone is loving the game. I on the other hand have mixed feelings about it, and no I'm not gonna complain about the sh*t feature. First of all the police chases, to me they lost that feeling. In all previous games you had some road rules, if a cop saw you breaking it the chase started and there was from 1 to 4 cop cars chasing you but they kept a lil' bit of distance from the player so the chase could go on for a long time. Now the only way to start a police chase is to hit the police car?! and when the chase starts cops are coming from every direction, it's like a f*cking destruction derby and getting away without a scratch is almost impossible, unless you drive a McLaren F1 or a Murcielago on a straight highway, I wanna enjoy a good police chase. Next is the movie director that lost few options, there's no option to lock the camera on other cars cop/getaway car, for example the bullitt chase, I wanted to do a camera view from Charger's rear to see the Mustang coming out of the alley... but I can't ( unless I'm a dumbass that didn't read the manual and don't know how to do it ) or a view from a cops bumper to see me disappearing in the Diablo but no I couldn't. And the last issue( at least for me )is the online, the games are to short, for example capture the flag, only 2 flags to win the game? wtf, you can't choose ur own car for a classic race or sprint gp, I know they maybe wanted to challenge players to drive in different cars but c'mon, and the only freeroam is in the lobby and when no friends are online... So that's pretty much it, the city is big, car handling is awesome and the number of cars is nice, but after getting 100% and all trophies in one week the game get's boring and there's not much to do besides driving around and repeating movie or Uplay challenges. Pat
Has anyone on the PC version had any problems with the story mission 'Eyes on the City?" It won't let me scan the SUV, no matter how many times I press the key I have Shift bound to.

lol232
Hi, Now, could anyone tell me how much does this game take space? 10 GB? 15GB? I 1.5+TB left so it's not problem. That's all I'm wondering.
