Snake Without a Tongue
This will sound weird, but it really f**ked with my OCD. I expected to play TBOGT a lot more than I did. I tried to play and just enjoy it separately from reaching max stats, but I couldn't. Whenever numbers are involved I get anxious. I played RDR twice before trying for all gold medals. Now that I've got all gold I doubt I'll ever play it again. It takes attention from the experience and places it on the numbers. But that's my problem. phantom2510
I wouldn't mind it if it didn't keep someone from getting 100% completion. That may take away from the purpose of the whole thing, but that's what annoys me with it. That's it though... killdrivetheftvehicle
I wouldn't mind it if it didn't keep someone from getting 100% completion. To me the whole point of playing gta is to figure out a way to pass the missions with ease (without cheating). I surely don't want to get too frustrated playing gta. If there is no reason, why you should drive like a maniac, or kill everybody in a certain way, then why have that as a requirement to pass missions 100%. Ash_735
No, no no no, no way, I f*cking hated that in TBOGT, I must have OCD or something but it really put me off wanting to do the missions having the game tell me I suck after doing it. Now, Red Dead Redemption does it right, it's there for the people who want to do it, but it doesn't show up during the story missions, you only get the goals and targets AFTER you've done the mission and can then re-attempt it to get a higher % and Gold. That way worked, it didn't slate you for playing the game for the first time, you got to do the storyline missions how you wanted, and got to have fun, and then do challenge runs later on if you wanted. mikkenugent
I hated that bullsh*t, like for instance in some if not most missions you need to get some many head shots, WTF? In GTA you shouldnt have to be required to get a certain amount of head shots, you should just be able to win however you can/want. Yes I know gettin 100% on every mission is optional but I just didnt like the scorin system at all. It may have been a feature R* put in there just to test to see if the fans would like it, but by this point theres really no reason to put things like that in GTA. Im tired of games these days constantly shovin gamer scores up my ass. If I finish the game 100% then thats good enuff but if I have to play one mission 12 times in a row to just get 100% on that one mission it just sux the fun outta the situation. But thats just me and with that said I hope R* doesnt pull that sh*t anymore. If its like RDR where it doesnt matter if you get gold or whatever thats fine but dont shove it down our throats. SwampAss
NO, this should not be brought back, I hated being graded for doing missions, I want to do them my way and not have them preset for me. At least make it an option in the start menu. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/466836-mission-percentage-in-next-gta/#findComment-1060293513 Share on other sites
Linki
No. Please, I hated that in TBOGT. I would like to ability to replay missions, but no scores (and let us watch the beginning cutscene too). This. Chinatown Wars did it similar to this too, somewhat forcing you to do each mission at least twice if you wanted to go crazy and get all the golds.
