Yes. Originally the title was supposed to be Conan the Conqueror, but like you said Arnie turned down the role and it was changed to Kull.

Pretty poor compared to the originals, but It's part of the Conan saga, just like Ruggero Deodato's Barbarian Brothers starring the Paul brothers. That's real fun
