Hi, excuse me if this is the wrong section for this.

 

Me and my clan buddies have settled in your network irc.gtanet.com under a channel, and we've setup a java bot to grant us OP.

It works fine, but it would be great if the bot had superop (&) status instead.

 

I've seen other channels at gtanet have this, is it possible to acquire for us? Or do you have to register as a channel or similar for that.

So you're not using one of the GTANet bots? If so, use one of them instead. They have & status and do the same job. Just type /botlist for more info.

Didn't know there were GTANet bots, although /botlist doesn't recognise as a command for me.

 

We've already made pircbot compliant with our gamserver, they communicate both ways and pircbot handles the user stuff too.

 

The built in bots are the only one that has access above operator then, right?

I fail with the IRC commands. My mistake. /msg botserv botlist

 

All the GTANet bots will automatically have superop and handle user stuff like ops and stuff. In order to get a bot though, you'll need to register your channel, and the channel owner is the only one who can get a bot.
