Multiplayer mods? (oh boy)

Recommended Posts

If you wanna use mods, you must host own server or join to server with "Simple native trainer" in the name

Let me correct you. The name can be anything, but the host of the game must have the trainer too to make it possible for everyone to use it. And the trainer only does work in two multiplayer modes (If singleplayer is not counted) Freemode and was it... partymode or some sort of.

Lies and bullcrap. I've started servers before with the trainer and plenty of non-trainer users were able to join my game.

Basically, if you have mods, you can't join a game with a host that doesn't have mods. Otherwise, there are no other limits.

I'm not sure about the gamemode limitation though. Haven't tried using mods outside of freemode.

Ah, excuse my stupidness. I didn't sleep for 3 days and was tired. I meant it the other way around exactly. biggrin.gif

Which is exactly the reason why simple trainer shows up in the server browser, so that people who don't want to join a match where mods are used, know that mods are used in a match with "simple trainer" appended, they can now easily avoid such matches. It works the other way too of course, people who like to use mods, know where to go smile.gif
