Downloaded save games crash SanAndreas

OK so as the title would suggest any save games I download and then try to load crash san andreas. I have had this problem before a couple of years ago and i solved it(eventually) but i cannot remember how. I have downgraded, deleted the .set file and tried a hex edit thing with no results please help asap

if you're talking about A mod "Crash" then you want to go to the Modding Forums.

If you are talking about a Saved Game that causes Crashs then you Need to have the same Version game:

Version 1 save game for a Version 1 installed game.

Version 2 save game for a Version 2 installed game.

If you want to cross play versions instructions are in the "Mission Help" forum under the Chain Game. But you can't mix Versions during the same play. You must change the Script Files to match the Version saved game.

Sine you've downgraded your game, I think you're assuming that your game is v1 and so, v1 savefiles will work with your game. That is wrong. Downgrading does not turn your game into v1. You still have a v2 game and only v2 savefiles will work on it.
