FrediSan
Hi. I decided to install ENB and now for some reason I can't change the resolution at all. It's stuck at 3840x2160 and there's no way to move it from there. It worked well before, I guess it's some kind of editable option which I don't seem to find or whatever. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/466460-resolution/ Share on other sites
Girish
Have you tried adding -norestrictions to your commandline.txt file? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/466460-resolution/#findComment-1060273122 Share on other sites
FrediSan
Yes I have. It didn't work, maybe 'cause it doesn't seem to have anything to do with hardware restrictions. I can change every option, but not the resolution. Not for lower, not for higher values, it's just jammed there (3840x2160). My screen 'res is 1280x1024, by the way... FrediSan
Few notes: - I installed this one, because I read someone saying it should work with normal GTA 4 v1.0.7.0 - I have the Steam version. - I had to start in windowed after ENB. I was getting a D3D error. Now in windowed mode is gone, but like I said, I can't change resolution at all. Girish
Try deleting all files from the Settings folder. Windows XP SP3 - C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\Settings Windows Vista - C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\Settings Windows 7 - C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\Settings If that doesn't help, please visit the modding forums and try asking in the mod topic that you have linked to. OverTheBelow
Find enbseries.ini in your GTA4 directory and change "ForceAntialiasing=true" to "false". Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/466460-resolution/#findComment-1060274005 Share on other sites
FrediSan
It had indeed something to do with the AA options, I think I have kind of figured it out. Thanks everyone!
