NOVEMBER 2012 - UPDATE #22!

 

Alright guys! Here we come once more for a short guide update. It's probably one of the shortest updates I've ever done mainly because, even with all the new information coming from GTA V, much else wasn't really happening around the forums. I've updated a few things and that's pretty much it. PM me if you know of anything else worth putting in the guide - I'll check it immediately!

• Added the "All About Games!" topic in the Importants Topics list. (12.2)
• Edited Dutchy's commendation collection description in the Special Collections section. (2.5)
• Linked this update to the Guide updates list. (13.2)
• Updated the first post with the new forum stats, number of members & posts. (1.0)

So yeah, that's pretty much it! Not much to list, I know, but I couldn't find many things changing in the past month so there.

DECEMBER 2012 - UPDATE #23!

 

So, here we are once more - for the last time this year. The 23rd update of this guide. Not many things happened to this forum, even with the second trailer of GTA V coming. Well, there were a few changes worth mentioning, so here we go.

 

• Added Adriaan & Knife to the Moderators list. (9.2)
• Added the "Guess The Place" link to the GTA III Funny Games list. (12.1)
• Added the "Guess the Location" & "Who am I?" games to the GTA IV Funny Games section. (12.1)
• Edited the Signature Rules section correcting an information: 500x150 pixels limit instead of 150x500. (4.3)
• Linked this update to the Guide updates list. (13.2)
• Modified the 150x500 pixels limit of signature in the My Controls & F.A.Q. (Question #3) sections. (4.2 & 11.0)
• Removed the "GTA Series Chat" section off the Funny Games list with its' topic. (12.1)
• Updated the first post with the new forum stats - the increase of posts number. (1.0)
• Updated the Unofficial Gangs list with the new one created and updated by Mr. Reaper. (3.2)

JANUARY 2013 - UPDATE #24!

 

Happy new year guys! Hopefully 2013 is going to be a great year for every single of us!

Now, coming back to the guide update, I've just completed the 24th update of this guide and I'm gladly saying a happy birthday to the newbie guide which turned 2 years a couple of days ago. So let's get going with the list!

• Deleted the "Error Reporting" thread in the GTA: State of Liberty section of the Important Topics list. (12.2)
• Deleted the asterix (*) that was next to the moderators and administrators who were under anonymous status in the Administrators and Moderators lists. (9.1 & 9.2)
• Deleted the explanation of the asterix (*) that was next to the anonymous administrators and moderators in the Administrators section. (9.1)
• Linked this update to the Guide updates list. (13.2)
• Moved anuj, DexX, Craig, Mainland Marauder & uNi from the Moderators list to the Retired Staff - Moderators list. (9.2 -> 9.3)
• Updated the copyright of the Newbie Guide at it's very bottom. (13.3)
• Updated the first post with the new forum stats - the increase of posts number. (1.0)
• Updated the Funny Games list with the new San Andreas & GTA III Chain Game rounds' links. (12.1)
• Updated the Unofficial Gangs list with the new one created and updated by Mr. Reaper. (3.2)

I know there aren't many updates, but that's pretty much the only changed stuff I've seen happening during the last month. However, in case I miss anything, or you want me to remove or add something PLEASE DO tell me since I've very interested in any kind of improvisation to the guide. So, so. We're here once more. The 25th update of this guide. It was kinda big, requiring some new banners too since the older ones seem to have died after 2 years. Well, we'll have new ones for the following couple of years at least. Anyway, thanks to everybody who posted in this topic or either sent me PMs about what I should change in this guide, I highly appreciate it!

MARCH 2013 - UPDATE #26!

 

Alright, so here we are for the third update of 2013. There were small but noticeable issues with the guide that I felt like mentioning to have been fixed, even if they may seem ridiculous to fix. Anyway, here's the list, which is quite different from the previous ones.

 

• Added the "Events on GTAForums" topic in the Important Topics list of the Events section. (12.2)
• Added shoumic to the "Thanks" list. (13.1)
• Added the GTA V "Business" & "Neighbourhoods and Localities" Databases to the GTA V Important Topics list. (12.2)

So, here we are once again. The fourth update of this year, and luckily this is also the last cold month of this year start. The guide didn't suffer many updates, some are completely tiny, but I still mentioned them only for the sake of it.

• Added the pip icon of each group next to each group name in the "Groups" section. (3.1)
• Added the "GTA IV Database" topic to the Important Topics list of GTA IV. (12.2)
• Added H.I.M. to that "Thanks" list. (13.2)
• Added the "GTA San Andreas Quiz Competition" topic to the Funny Games list of San Andreas. (12.1)

Thanks to everybody for their kind words. I too wish this topic to get a little more attention, but I can't help any further than 1 post monthly. This month's update is also barely an update, rather than a bump, since there weren't any massive changes in any section, just the usual statistics updates and a few new / update links.
