Settings in NVIDEA Control Panel

I thought Id post this topic to get people thinking about settings they can put into the IVIDEA Control Panel. It seems you can modify pre renderd frames, anti Alising, texture filtering like Antistrofic filtering and many other things. This will work for GTA IV and many other games and applications that you have installed on your PC. It seems there are a cuple of settings that you can tweak that arnt even in the games Graffics Settings menu. Your GTA and even your other games may not be running at the power they could be.

 

If you dont know how to access the INVIDEA Control Panel or get to the screen to acsess the setings for your game follow these steps

 

1. Go to your desktop and right click and in the dropdown menu select INVIDEA Control Panel.

2. Under the 3D settings tab go to ajust 3D image settings with a preveiw.

3. Check the Use Advanced 3D image settings

4. Click Take me There or click on Manage 3D settings under the 3D settings tab to the left of the window.

5. You can adjust the settings for all of your games and programs or you can go to program settings and pick GTA IV or any other game you wana tweak.

6. Adjust the settings to your likeing.

 

I hope this has helped people get better preformence or better quality and even both.

Anyway, most of these settings don't work for GTA4.

Yep, most of the stuff in CCC and the nvidia control panel cannot be forced in GTA 4. An exceptions being anisotropic filtering, but that's already in the game.

Well it may help some people out who are setting there graffics in the game and not having it work right. I was not geting Antisementric x16 even when I set it to be that in the game I would only get trilinear effects. I noticed that the settings in the Control pannel were making it Trilinear. Also you can edit the pre renderd frames and you may be able to optimize preformence. I was thinking that it may help people out with GTA and maybe even some of there other games.
