Rider916
i got a 2.0US version DVD of san andreas, and from a forum on the net, it says that a 2.0 DVD will work with a 1.0US exe(which also means a 1.0 game), and i just want to know if it is true? lil weasel
Take a look in the 'Mission Help" forums; at the Chain Game it may explain some problems about using the various .exe of the two games. Girish
Why would you want to know? You have a v2 disc, so just use the v2 executable along with your v2 disc. You don't have to worry about any v1 executables. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/466184-will-it-work/#findComment-1060267800 Share on other sites
radioman
If it's save games you are talking about, then all you have to do to get V1 saves to work on V2 is to upload them to GTASnP site and redownload them(one at a time of coarse)-this will convert them to work on V2. I have verified that this works, since I have V2 and when I use the old Chain Game saves from before the SnP site was updated to auto-convert, there were several V1 saves in the Chain Game folder, so all I did was upload the save to the SnP site and re-downloaded it and it worked great. Just a heads up... Apart from that, why are you worried about V1 and V2-You say you have V2, it comes with everything you need to play the game, so, what's the problem? you were not very specific in your first post.
