CognizantDoor Posted June 23, 2020 Share Posted June 23, 2020 hello guys, i have a problem. i've installed all patches to ultimate frosted winter & crack 1.0, i've removed .asi scripts, but when i want to start a new game, this game crashes with unhandled exception. how can i fix it? please? However I lack the time AND will to test it and check for new bugs. Mister A Posted September 27, 2020 Share Posted September 27, 2020 (edited) Hello, can somebody help me I had a problem with the mission 'Investigation is Over', whenever I kill the investigator the game crashed.. I found out that the patched main.scm that did this problem, I wanna fix it myself but I don't know anything about coding.. Can someone please help? Or maybe BEGINit could also help if u still have the mood for this mod? Edit: BTW, I have installed every patches which is patch 1, patch 2 and ofc the mission patch and put them all in the right file.. Yes, I've done that after replacing the original one with the patched one.. Something must be wrong with scm cuz every time I kill the investigator on foot or in a car, the game crashed Edit: btw, the savegame where the mission keeps crashing is created after I installed the patch so that means I did start a new game after replacing it.. So it must be the main.scm file that was causing the problem.. But sorry I thought your problem was save related. It most likely is something due to the SCM since it seems the patch indeed causes the game to crash. Best thing that's possible for right now since BEGINIt is focused more on Shine O' Vice at the moment, is to go ahead and track down the code that sends it into a crash. I don't even know which code it is and like I said I don't know anything about coding.. Maybe you can try to find that mission and check the code, I would really appreciate it.. Thanks, I appreciate that Edit: I think I have known why the game crashed after that mission, maybe I'm wrong but if you complete the Mafia rampage or basically all the rampages before that mission, the game will crash no matter what.. Without it doesn't Nah it works well for me, u just need to have v1.0 of gta 3 exe so that the mod will work properly.
