MostOfAll
I finished Grand Theft Auto IV, the original story, last month or so. I just picked up the complete edition along with Red Dead Redemption at Best Buy today and started playing The Lost and Damned, but I don't like how it feels. It just doesn't feel right for some reason. I've only completed about missions, so it might be too early to tell. Does it get better from here on or would it be like this the whole game? I wouldn't say I hate it, but it just doesn't feel like a Grand Theft Auto game at all. Wercury
Believe me,it gets better. I had the same feeling at the start of the game, but I started enjoying it after some cool missions. GTA 360
Got better for me too. I never liked the way they altered the HUD to make it harder to read though. MostOfAll
Believe me,it gets better. I had the same feeling at the start of the game, but I started enjoying it after some cool missions. I thought the storyline seemed a bit pointless when I first started playing. Everything changed as soon as the "civil war" started. It just took some getting used to. Part of the reason why I found it hard to get used to was because Johnny doesn't seem as agile as Niko for some reason. I don't think Johnny can run as fast as Niko, and he doesn't look like he's as experienced as Niko when it comes to gunfights. MostOfAll
I finished the story in two days! Probably my biggest gaming accomplishment so far? I just have to say this game exceeded my initial expectations of it. I didn't know the story was going to turn out to be good because it seemed kind of pointless in the beginning. GTA 360
So you agree with what we say then. Did you buy the EFLC disk with TLAD and TBOGT? If so do you like TBOGT more? I find this one the best of the two. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/465795-not-liking-the-vibe-so-far/#findComment-1060262577 Share on other sites

I find this one the best of the two. I've had Grand Theft Auto IV alone, but I got the complete edition that includes the two DLC episodes. I haven't completed The Ballad of Gay Tony yet, so it's definitely too early to tell which episode I would like more. Besides, like I said before, The Lost and Damned really exceeded my initial expectations. The Ballad of Gay Tony is starting off rather boring, but I think that might be the trend with all Grand Theft Auto games. I'm thinking the main plot doesn't set in until around halfway through. I'm not asking for spoilers, but why did you like The Lost and Damned more? Sorry if I was unclear but What I was trying to say is that I liked The Ballad Of Gay Tony best out of the two, it has some epic missions, I'll say no more. Neither of them are as good as the original though. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/465795-not-liking-the-vibe-so-far/#findComment-1060263737 Share on other sites

There are more things to do other than the storyline missions, and the feeling it gives you is a lot more glamorous. I think Rockstar did that intentionally since Johnny is just a dude in a biker gang, while Niko was in the Serbian Army and such. Iunno, I've always though that's how they did it. cidamelo
Hi friends, I finished The Lost And Damned some days ago, and I loved it!! Specially because it mostly takes part in Alderney, my favorite borough. I think it was a fantastic game, and it was longer than I thought it would be!! I started to play The Ballad Of Gay Tony today Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/465795-not-liking-the-vibe-so-far/#findComment-1060305676 Share on other sites
na89340qv0n34b09q340
. I never liked the way they altered the HUD to make it harder to read though. TBOGT was a bit harder for me to read, especially the wanted level part. But anyways, TBoGT has more of a chillin' with close friends feel to it IMO. I like to destroy group sechs vans and hi-jack boats in this game. It feels like what a gang from south alderney might do.
