Well , as we already have some vehicle converters and mappers, we need more scripters who could develop the software-tools for us and other in-game domestic code to be used in-game. But all the stated places and any other are open now!

We need people who can:

Convert vehicles. (or even make new HD ones, even better)

Work on map stuff, like 2dfx, particles, NVC, fix map bugs, make high res textures, bump maps and probably some more things.

Scripters*

Ped\charachter converters**

Audio converters**

SCO**

 

 

Hello. Do you need help? I have experience with converting biggrin.gif

 

Also I can:

 

Convert objects from III/VC/SA/other games to IV ( I already wrote about it above biggrin.gif )

Fix map bugs ( Holes, cracks, etc. )

Create bump and specular texture

Create 2dfx

And can I make the texture of high quality (I'm not a professional in this regard, but I can make it )

 

If you want I can give you screenshots of my works biggrin.gif

i first want to learn more about modding converting ... anyway i just started some days ago

A crosstrack is no use to us, it proofs you can model and put things ingame, but it doesn't relate to anything were doing.

 

Yes but the crosstrack is from Sa and all objects on it too so its pretty much the same thing

Isn't it better when more ppl are working on this mod? Don't you need every help you get to release this mod faster?

if we take are time and dont rush things going faster it will be more stable and perfect colgate.gif

Adding more members won't necessarily 'rush' the process.

The same amount of care and time will be implemented into it, only the job will be done in a quicker period of time due to more members of the team working on different elements.

 

I say the more the better.

3 people for all sa vehicles isn't much.

 

And progress isn't going fast either for that mather.

 

Nothing against you, juriz or kowally, you all have a life too.

 

@StunterDan, I already said before in this topic, we don't need more map converters. Tanjes and I are the only one who really knows how to convert a map proper.

 

I was talking about other map stuff, 2dfx, partcles, night windows, textures, bump, specular and all that crap.

we have 3 or so i cant be exact but your right me and my exams and others very busy sad.gif

We are working on removing the red stuff. I think 3D max screwed up something. That or the many bugs GTA IV has.

When you work on mods sometimes bugs can pop up. He is updating his progress and a bug that is in his way of completing the mod. Dont worry it will be gone soon.

Ah he just marked the wall red. Now I got it.

I just thought it was a wall by R* developers who didn't want a changed code at a specific line. wink.gif

LOLOLOL it makes me laugh all the opinions of the people talking about the red wall! anyways

 

GTARandom I need the script you used on the dropbox folder and will try redoing the special guns with normal and spec maps because I will do a re-texture (HD) for them as an addon.

 

Also what map files are updated? Near (uploadhere) or Near? (talking about folders on DB)
