It's not if it was planned , it's if we bring in something new to the mod.... Posting old stuff gets old pretty quickly so mainly you get updated with new content!

For the last time after the PM respond to Blaster, the last person who put his nose into SRT3 stuff, got the topic locked and banned.

Like I said before, I've created a tool to replace the Prelit data with the NVC data in DFF files.

Now one (Blaster) can easily import and convert them, with night lights!

I'm sure this will create the nice Vegas feel like in SA.

Is it changing SA's (old) DFF files, yes.

Afterwards, Blaster uses 3ds Max to convert it to IV, but I don't know how.

@zzcool. As a member of the team, I'm officially asking you one last time to leave the topic. Please don't make me report you.

I have just submitted a report for both Zz and Lianne.

It is ridiculous as I stated before. You guys won't be mature about it and resolve your conflicts via PM so I took action.

 

If the topic ends up getting locked due to irrelevant spam then we know who to thank.

It's not just Zz and Lianne, it's also relating to those involved with the sco editor issue.

You do realise that reporting people isn't exactly mature either. Furthermore since you mention the talk about the sco editor, I do believe that talking about sco editor is highly on topic, as several times it was mentioned that such a toolwould benefit the mod. Finally, I don't share your feelings of anxiety regarding the possiblity that the topic could be locked, as I have never seen such topics being locked over such trivial things, if a moderator feels that the topic gets out of hand, that moderator will post a warning, they won't close a topic without any warning.

Do you think your tool could be used to patch the blackness glitch when looking at far away objects. The bug is on Patch 6 and 7, and its on all EFLC patches. Its not there on patches for GTA IV with out DLC support. It would be use for this mod because on the new patches I know that bug will be ruining the beautaful SA landscape.

Now for the comparison where you cant miss it. (It realy is noticable above the map).

Its much more noticable in gameplay. Ill upload a screen of me looking over my Roads to Heaven map from the Xbox version and one from the PC version. It looks proper with no Zfighting and no blackness bug. It would look great on this.

No matter what shaders you use the blackness is still there. I was wondering if the dll graphics changer could fix the glitch.

I can't say I've ever seen that before.

 

Prohibiting someone from a making any posts at all in a given topic? Sure, a few of their posts might be annoying, but so are many of the posts from numerous users I've seen in this thread. Maybe he's a little over-enthusiastic, but zzcool has at least made some constructive comments, unlike some others. Bickering, spamming, false accusations, many of you are just as guilty, and you know who you are. It seems as though If you're going to stop one user from posting, you may as well just lock the thread altogether.

I hate how SRT looks for most part because it just makes everything look incredibly grainy, but that screen is AMAZING.

Looked grainy in GTA SA engine because the textures were too big with no mipmaps support in txdworkshop.

 

That screen looks better cause the GTAIVSA people are using tools with support for mipmaps. icon14.gif

@nkjellman might because of the new shadow system. It looks better but caused a number of problems in the process. Doubtful anyone outside of Rockstar can fix it.

Which constructive posts? I failed to see anything constructive from him. He just keeps posting one screen of his so called editor and refuses to actually provide proof he has something other than a file browser all the while claiming that it's not possible to get scripts to load, which is a heap of sh*t. He's been told constantly by the team to be quiet but he refuses to do so and keeps spamming the topic with stupid unnecessary posts that are usually one or two words each. Not to mention spamming our PMs with stupid things such as a so called converted script which was just the SA scm remained to sco. He's been told to stop and that's that. Now, any posts from anyone regarding zzcool after this point will be reported. You have a concern about the guy or "work", go to PM. We'd like our topic back, thanks.

 

Never mind. The stupidity of zzcool and manhog had me thinking they were one person instead of two.

^ unless that guy with the sco editor is the same person as zzcool, you are mixing or combining two persons. Frankly I believe the reaction of that "car girl" wasuncalled for and way out of line in regards to the post she quoted. I also believe that the reaction of the moderator was not fair in regards to the post I'm referring to. But then again, I'm not about to question the moderation on here smile.gif

sa can handle high textures, the tool txdworkshop just can't make mipmaps tounge.gif

 

In other words, for SRT to not look like sh*t, it needs all txd's opened and mipmaps generated in GTXD for it to look good and get rid of sand paper tounge.gif

 

I hope you can clear it up with blitz, and even if u cant make a pack for your mod, he can't stop you from making a tutorial on how to port to IV the mod, so don't let it stop you if you want to share, it's not mod theft or anything like that - it's just how to do something wink.gif

So, GTA III has blue hell, GTA IV has black hell? Rockstar is sick.

 

And one more note:

Why, when You using plane in auto slot (I guess), You didn't make working rotor? You can't use some car wheel physic for that?
