Keep in mind the version I was playing wasn't the most current and the timecyc didn't have the draw distance edited. Some of the pop-in was actually from a loading bug which happens from time to time due to the exporter. GTAR is currently broadcasting and is driving around SF almost fine and draw distance is amazing!

That's perfect, that the popins are already fixed, because that does really suck.

Have you found a way to add new weapons or do they just replace other one? And did you get the animations for the SA weapons or what's about the rocket launcher?

The weapons you will see , i don't want to reveal as you'll see it tomorrow anyway.

 

Though yes i added them all with their own collision in 1 file and animations (placeholders) are fine for weapons put in.

Well there's no reason why the Skylift script couldn't be altered to suit IV's requirements.

As for the trailer script, you can see that is for IV also.

 

Unfortunately it is a private script at the moment.

If you want to contact the maker of the script for what ever reason just contact him via his Youtube channel.

Somehow i always miss all the live broadcasts -.-... I'm from UTC +1 and i check this topic like every two hours... Maybe you should record and upload sometimes and make dev-diary like RussianCJ does of Vice City IV mod

 

You should post about sco editor in first post of this topic, and also on the website.. As you get lot of hits probably someone knows something that could help?

Tho of course there is infinite time for sco editor to be made, as those functions arent that crucial.. Well they are but can live without them..

lol, i always miss the podcasts too but its my own fault as i dont read the topic, i hate reading that much lol, and well im glad there is a trailer mod, i need this for my knight rider mod, plus he said its wip so no release yet, and since the trailer mod is possible id say so is all or most of sa car features, like dozer bucket, fire truck jet, tow truck tow, tractor tow, and ect, now idk about that but the trailer is so the others should be, or atleast some, i mean there was a tow truck on tlad for a mission, and some other sa style features used on eflc, like parachute which should be able to be converted to work on 4 if and when a sco editor is made that fully works, untill then id say no, anyways id rather play this mod on eflc, if and when its made compatable, but anyways glad to know there is a real trailer mod now, anyways ill ttyl peace

Nope, the tow truck in TLAD was just for show.

I was using this method, but this one is for people who are trying to make vehicle spawns for the Xbox 360 version, but it could be easly applyed to the PC version. There has to be a faster way for the PC version.

@GTARandom and all: all those things u psoted can be done with scripts in theory. a big problem (in .sco too) are the functions, for most things thre are no functions u can use, you have to make them and i think it is ahrd for all those things

 

like getting fat or at gyms, thats not a big problem itself, making a new "statistic menu" possible as mod in scripthook and in sco u can edit the statistics menu of IV totally ;D

Me, too. I tried to learn C++, but I failed after the first steps. Could not remember any codes.

But I am always thinking, that you can copy the code from SA to IV or why is that not possible? If someone checked the variables etc. and adjust SA's code to IV it might work.
