I think we are now only missing VCS and LCS that needs to be converted to the Rage engine. Just awesome guys. Maybe someone can later use all the ports to remake GTA 1, 2, GTA Advance and GTA 4 CW game missions later.

 

@ City Poke - was thinking about all the work you are doing now - would you consider also converting the textures from SRT and PO 2010 over instead of default textures?

 

Just curious if it would help make this project more HD like.

 

I'm sure the original authors would be interested at least or if they grant permission, some of us might be able to help out.

is there any way to make the whole thing less flat and more tesselated with more rounded parts as the roads etc are flat which suprised me considering san andreas is from 2005

It is possible, but some UV maps will be f.cked up.

Dunno this might have been already asked, but how about you use SRT3's textures? It really makes GTA SA look better, therefor it'll make this look better as well. I'm serious some textures in SRT3 are better than GTA IV ones.

He might not do that because usually game-to-game map conversions use as much original things as possible to retain authenticity 'n stuff however when this is released someone could so a SRT3 tex-pack for it.

Each sector will have max 4-6 WTD archives, so you will be replace it in simple way.

I like it. Rage makes everything look great. But If your going to update the textures I wouldent change them just make them look better.

You are talking about SA's models (Low Poly Awesomeness)

Besides there are no Spec and Normal Maps as far as I know.

ZOMG! the materials seem to be working awesomely but, at those grassy roads, put concrete material, they seem to do dust efect

when drifting on them
