main gta iv folder, where gtaiv.exe is (or eflc.exe)

This is something I wanted to tell for 2 days now but I was busy...

 

 

I moving on to another mod which means I'm leaving this mod forever but I might keep supporting it with add-ons

 

My reason of why am I leaving is because of the lack of people (communication with team).

 

It was awesome working with you guys!!

No the mod isnt dead.At least for now confused.gifsad.gifconfused.gif I hope that city_poke and the others will continue with the mod at least for beta 2 or patch 5-6

We/They are not leaving permanently.

Instead, we were able to release the mod this far using the tools currently available.

When more tools are released which unfold new possibilities, this work will be continued as far as possible using those new tools.

When more tools are released which unfold new possibilities, this work will be continued as far as possible using those new tools.

That might take a while. New tools will be less and less frequent, as new mods & popularity decreases.

This and the superman mod will be the last mods I make/contribute to, because of the user bare, and crappy engine, and cause most is already done.

 

Will keep on updating the SAIV script though. I'm hoping the mod will keep on updating and living on its own, with 3rd party contributions.

 

So to anyone on the team, please consider opening up the source/DB, so the mod dosnt die with the crew.

EDIT: You should have made the mod public earlier, at least pre alpha.. would have lessened the huge pressure on beta release.

There are 2 versions of that music

 

My My Hey Hey (Out of the Blue)

Hey Hey My My (Into the Black)

 

That music is really good to drive around alone with you old Shelby GT500 (lol)

 

I have 121 musics in my music folder and today i only listen that , repeating the same music for hours

 

lol...

 

EDIT : I am very persistent so i made that. (using TDU2 , lol , i dont have a shelby sad.gif ) uploading

like Flits said Random,quechus and Blaster is just taking a breaking a break.. and the current tools that are available for map converters isn't really enough atm. just look at how many months the map converters manage to convert the map(basic no shaders and basic COL)[major converting started when Blaster joined around march]

GTAIV: San Andreas Beta #1 Patch #1 Released!

 

We are happy to announce the release of our first patch for GTA IV: San Andreas Beta #1. This patch fixes the following:

 

- Fixes IVSA script (Changes replay key from F8 to F7 to prevent problems, adds delay to bmx spawn for TBOGT)

- Fixes VDS20 error with IV and EFLC if user didn't install xliveless

- Fixes issues with map not appearing in EFLC for some users

- Fixes film grain in IV

- Added cols for the road and sidewalk outside the V-Rock cafe

- Initial col patch work on the Mount Chiliad observation deck (Can use a car to jump off now but needs some more work)

 

We are planning on releasing more updates to the mod in the coming weeks to address a number of map related things.

And yes, the modding community here kinda sucks. All the originality has gone and people drool over constant map conversions. I'll be honest, the modding community brought me to this site and got me into PC gaming, but these days nothing ever gets finished and the most popular mods are conversions.

 

I understand how this has taken months but why couldn't those months have been spent doing something original and new instead of rehashing the actual creativity and skill (which I know that you and others have, by seeing some of your smaller mods).

 

I don't want to play the same damn map I've played already on every new damn engine.
