GTAIV: San Andreas Beta #1 Patch #1

 

- Fixes IVSA script (Changes replay key from F8 to F7 to prevent problems, adds delay to bmx spawn for TBOGT)

- Fixes VDS20 error with IV and EFLC if user didn't install xliveless

- Fixes issues with map not appearing in EFLC for some users

- Fixes film grain in IV

- Added cols for the road and sidewalk outside the V-Rock cafe

- Initial col patch work on the Mount Chiliad observation deck (Can use a car to jump off now but needs some more work)

R* games has to thank you. You convinced me to buy IV for PC. If it wont work then Im gonna buy a new PC soon.

Now the main problem is WTD. OpenIV's texture crash the game, G-Texture save fine to max 20 textures. Can anyone help?

Great stuff CP, hopefully there's a way to get your texture problem fixed.

Maybe its the format/compression settings on the texture files that get imported with OpenIV's texture tool that could be causing it.

Surely openiv's wtd tool isn't broken?

This is going to be realy awsome! But the only problome is IV does not have flyable planes. I know you can do plane handling but the flying is not as realistic and there is no taxing on the ground. (turning and stearing the plane well driving on the ground)

That's sick news! Good luck on the mod. I know it's gonna take a very long-time to make this mod, but I hope I get a better computer so I can run GTA IV smoothly in my PC. Keep making progress.

Okay, I fixed a bug with textures. I can convert a map now. But col's are missing.

Anyone have a texture converter (txd to wtd) and a placement converter? (ipl to wpl)

If youre doing this on your own it will take you forever. im only saying this to get you prepared for some gtaf spam bullsh*t. lots of people here are impatient... so if u feel like you want to rest a bit, lock the topic, and continue later.

From what I have heard you can use G-texture for wtd files.

 

I saw this message on this forum:http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=422579&st=0 download txd workshop, save textures, convert them in DXT1 or DXT3 as KingBulleT 8747 already said..then download G-Texture, load all textures and save a new .wtd

G-Texture have a limit. If I add too much textures, program crash. But GooD helped me.

I can help you with editing the Player. I can model various CJ Faces and we can use bammargeras way to do a player head replcement.I can show you some screens of heads i have done.If you are using TBOGT i can retexture some of san andreas clothes to HQ and fit it onto luis clothing.Just Pm me.
