LGPD?

In early screenshots Police Vehicles in Las Venturas were shown to have the letters "LG" emblozned on them, as apposed to the letters "LV" for Las Venturas. This suggests the at one point Las Venturas was named something else. What the "LG" stood for has never been known. One small possibility is that it stood for "Las Gaygas", a joke that has been made many times about the city.

Could someone post these Early Screenshots here please. Or purhaps explain if this is just a myth.

- Thanks.

Hmmm nice bike

This may be the pic they're referring to on that GTA Wiki. It appears to be in Los Santos, however, not in Venturas. And if you look carefully at it, it looks like a low-quality "S" on the side of the cop car, rather than a "G." If you look at it a certain way, it'll look like a "G," but it's most likely just an "S."

Yeah, they kinda look like the rotor blades on helicopters in VC. That screenshot was probably taken from an earlier point in development (notice that the Fortune looks more boxier than usual, and the tires look like the tires on certain cars in VC).
