Luxurious Clothes.

Recommended Posts

I think they should put more elegaant stuff like Louis Vuitton and stuff, I mean we need a more Fresh Elegant clothes style, the style that Luis Lopez went with. Im talking about letterman Jackets with a Didier Sachs Logo and Maybe some REAL Sunglasses, not those cheap 5 dollar knock-offs you get at the Russian store, the Protagonist needs more of, how can I put this, Swag!

i agree - more clothes in general are needed but defo more "smart" looking stuff, and high end "luis"-style ones.

More customisation too - maybe a saint row style system?

Little William

I agree. Some of the choices offered to Niko in Perseus are pretty sh*t and none of them look as classy as some of Luis' suits. The only thing I found that look decent with Niko is the black suit. Anything else just make Niko look sh*tty. I think R* shortchange us in Vanilla IV with such crappy choices of clothes. I hope they would do better in V.

I was hoping for something more fresh, I mean kinda Like "Brucie Type" Clothes too, maybe some high top sneakers with jeans, some Aviators with A BLack Croc Leather Jacket.

And I know lots of people are think earrings are homosexual or theyre just wannabee gangster things, but I think a pair of diamond studs look cool in a guy with a suit, makes him look flashy and pretty rich.

I just want more interchangable styles for our character. With Niko you just had clothes that fit his character theme, some poor scumbag fresh off the boat, but sometimes I don't want to play as that type of person. Sometimes I wanna make him a mafia-type so I go to Perseus and fit him with a fresh suit, but still the choices are sh*t. I want stores that have quality styles so I can look like hip hop/drug dealer.

That's pretty much what it comes down to. I mean I don't dress up characters in video games according to what I would wear in real life, but according to some kind of character or theme I want for them.

why do you care what you wear when you can cause rampage throughout the world? what are you, a bunch of girls?

Sometimes, use dedicated players like to immerse ourselves in the gaming world as if we were the protagonist and he reflected us, so we like to look cool so we do it in the game. If you guys understand what I mean?

Niko's initial clothes were like someone at Rockstar went through a list of all the things signifying poor, immigrant style and threw them at us in a savage aesthetic assault.

The slate and grey Perseus suits were awful, really the black suit with red or pink tie looked the best.

For me, the problem with dressing in IV is that you are limited to dressing like a homeless person, or super classy, and nothing in between.

The only real "fun" I got from the wardrobe feature was wearing a nice suit and then topping it off with the ski mask plus glasses. The cut scenes were hilarious.

I disagree with the OP that more "Luxurious" clothes are needed, because I think just more clothes in general would do the job. IV offered some nice suits + loafers I must say. Ok, add a 3-piece suit or two, a tuxedo, maybe some suede jackets, and voila! What more do you want for "luxurious" clothes?

Personally, I just want the ability to mix and match more clothing because IV didn't allow this. Sometimes, I'd like to wear a nice shirt/tie/jacket on top with some biker shorts, or even a speedo, on the bottom, and some tennis shoes complete the look. I mean, for a guy who mindlessly kills peds and steals cop cars, this would be rather fitting in my opinion.

If I had my way, I'd add:

- More T-shirts, both long sleeve and short. Some baggy, some tight.

- More collard shirts. Some short sleeved as well as long sleeved, button-up shirts.

- More pants. Slacks, khakis, jeans, corduroys, etc. More shorts too.

- More hats. Berets, baseball caps (which can be worn properly, backwards, or sideways), visors, or even a do-rag, sombrero, cowboy hats.

- More shoes, boots, tennis shoes, sandals, or even no shoes at all if you wish

- More glasses. just a few different typs of sun glasses, and even proper spectacles.

- Lastly, you should be able to choose "no clothing." Ok, not completely naked, but to run around the city with an RPG while wearing only your underwear and a pair of boots would be awesome to no end.

Maybe this all boils down to "like Sains Row 2" but I've never played that game so I've no idea what's going on there.
