A Total Conversion for GTA:VC, totally changing the idea and atmosphere of the game to that of a Zombie game. We have been huge fans of both the GTA series and various Zombie games/films for years, so finally here is our effort to combine the two: Raccoon City Stories*.

Our goals of this mod are:

A New zombie Apocalypse atmosphere

 

New Zombie engine with over 80 unique zombies (skins and models) around you

Main mission story line 10 – 15 missions

 

New Game modes including

 

Survival – player is spawned in a closed off area which is faced against waves of zombies. The more zombies the player kills (drops money) the more money the player has to buy weapons and body guards to help. The First side mission is located at the Supermarket (view screen shots for more reference)

 

Free roam – this is when the player wants to blow off some steam and go Rambo in the never ending undead city too do what every they like With new army check points around the city for players supplies such as health, amour, weapons/ammo and military vehicles.

 

Zombie Mode – The tables have turned, its time for you to unleash your anger and zombie habits upon a new saturation! Wielding a arm or leg or your bare hands you will have a group of zombies to assist you. For the first side mission we are working on, with the player (and his partners) storming the military base killing all military personal inside with the core objective to kill all and reach the end check point once completed.

 

 

 

Let me first welcome you to our mod. This is a Total Conversion zombie horror mod for GTA Vice City game engine. I do understand the reputation zombie mods for gta vc does have here (as one of the trackers my self) for this reason I will be releasing a beta version as soon as possible to reinsure you that that this mod is underway and also give you guys a chance to test out the new game play and modes. Below is a list of tasks with their statuses explained. To sum it up here we have pretty much completed the game play/atmosphere of the mod and now just completing the missions which hopefully means the new beta version will be around 60 -70 mbs download size with the graphic aspects out of the way. Any updates will be less then a mb containing the script files for new mission updates.

Although this mod is named Raccoon city stories its not another rip off of the resident evil series, instead its a rip off of all zombie movies biggrin.gif for example the zombie engine contains slow zombies (for the resident evil fans) sprinting zombies for the 28 days/weeks later fans <<(epic movies icon14.gif ) and jogging/running zombies for the people that can’t decide or don't care tounge.gif

hey wasn't sure what Crimson Head was? so looked it up.. pretty impressed like the idea of the blood seeping too the skin making the skin red and also producing claws might make a couple new models based off them smile.gif

Only problem with the title, is that the City is Vice, not RC. Could be misleading.

True. Shouldn’t judge a book by its cover than I guess? Hopefully when people read the bio on the mod they will understand it’s not just a resident evil game remake/import. If people still find it confusing I’ll look further into the matter. ph34r.gif

Eagerly awaiting the first download version.

 

However it looks like all the map changes are only ipl mod's with existing objects.

If you're not making map models, i could join and make some debris and custom barrier models if you want.

New map models would make the city look much more vibrant (in a horrfic way tounge.gif).

 

Also, what year is it set? I assume the 80's still as the peds are wearing the same style clothes.

It’s still the same time era as the normal vice city game. as for mapping you right we haven't created any new ipl objects yet (I’m the only one working on the mod at the moment so been focusing on new ped and weapon models colgate.gif so I’ll really appreciate it pm and we will talk further smile.gif

 

 

I could help you with Low Poly models, since LP its quick to make.

UPDATE

Hello and Merry Christmas, welcome too the first update post

 

First of all RCS team will be updated weekly so stay turned wink.gif

 

New Team Members

Now I would like to introduce the newest 2 RCS team members, Frank.S and Razor. Frank will be in charge of mapping and fixing new map objects into engine. He also will be working on main script to speed up development and beta release. Razor is a 3D modeller with experience throughout Autodesk and Adobe professional programs, he will be acting as a 3D modeller and texture with RCS, check out his great animations on his youtube Link.

 

 

New Custom 3D Map Models

All thanks to Frank.s with his help with the game engine, I have started creating new map objects for the mod, the first map package is mostly for military and Road block use. 3D models and textures created by smally fixed into game engine by frank.s.

New Custom Weapons

We have 4 new custom weapons including the nail bloody bat, axe (axe created by Razor), arm and leg. Zombies use the bare hands, arm or a leg to attack player but player can pick up the arm and leg. Player will also be using an arm or leg or there hands in zombie mode.

Here are the new custom zombie models I have created on top of the 60 plus retextured zombies, more custom zombies are on the way.

New Game Play Clip

Here’s a short vid of RCS Free roam game play, this will give you a better idea of the RCS game play and zombie engine, keep in mind this is still only early stages many more improvements and features too come.
