My game freezes when I try to connect (SA:MP, SP)

I keep on freezing when I try to connect on SAMP and when I try to exit the interior on GTA:SA. What can I do, I've uninstalled it alot of times and deleted the folders. I have no mods after replacing GTA.3

PROBLEM SOLVING:

If you have changed OS or Screen settings, If your system upgraded anything (drivers, etc) Delete the GTA_SA.set File.

Are you playing the game in W98/XP mode, with Administrative Privileges?

And... before people here begin investing a lot of time trying to fix a possible NO-FIX situation:

How are you playing:

1. With the Original DVD in the Drive?

2. OR are you Using a 'backup' disc?

3. Are you Using a No-CD crack?

4. OR a Downloaded game from Direct2Drive, or SteamPower.com

5. If none of the above, where did you get your game? Please specify.

 

Also: When posting a problem, be sure to include the following:

• Operating system (Windows 7, XP or Vista, and which Service Pack you have)

• Video/Graphics card type and dedicated graphics memory (or shared memory?)

• Processor

• RAM (random access memory)

Answering these questions may help to identify the problem

When you uninstalled the game did you,

Delete the Virtual Store copy of the installation folder too. The Appdata folder might be hidden. (e.g. C:\Users\???\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas)

I have deleted the rockstar games files in the Virtual Store, due to looking at different topics you posted in. Windows 7. I have a disc in the disc drive, no mods or anything.

 

Windows 7.

System model is Presario CQ61 Notebook PC

System type is 64bit.

AMD Athlon II Dual-Core M300

Did you also delete the gta_sa.set file from the User Files folder? That is important too.

 

Also, try running the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode and see if it helps.
