sh*t, i think VCR doesn't work on Windows XP.. i'm going to install DirectX now, because it needs some dx files.. I hope this will fix the problem.. because it said:

Feedback: THIS IS SO FUN, I LOVE YOU! Seriously, I love IVSA but this is just on another level, everything is converted so well. I really feel the atmosphere of Vice City, you achieved your goal, fantastic first beta! Will be testing again later, got to go for a few hours . Might seem like this is really buggy to anyone reading but it's not, it's extremely well polished. Just tiny minor bugs.

2.the launcher asks for a username and a password

Yes cracks sucks, i'm going to replace it with the orginal files. Maybe this will fix the damn problem.

to everyone if you use eflc on steam DO NOT use the launcher

 

with launcher it dosn't work at all

 

without launcher it just runs the game without a world and you fall through

IT WORKS

 

Make sure you remove TBoGT saves from

 

C:\Users\<blahblah>\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames

no that just removes GTA IV saves... think before posting

I wouldn't have posted it if that wasn't the fix...

 

Crashed before I moved SGTA414 outside the folder... worked after.

 

Other things to check: LauncherVCR.exe needs admin access

i launched it as a normal game through steam really creepy when a (FILE) is involed anyway the game STARTED but no world and you fall right through

Move the DLL intro your System32 Folder.. Open CMD as Administrator and type "regsvr32.exe MVSP100.dll" and it should work.
