If it freezes while scanning an IMG file it's just taking a while to scan each file inside of the IMG.

Oh man, you've got so many Problems, i hope it works for me.. I have the STEAM and Retail version, but i hope it works on the STEAM Version, because I don't want to start it with the DVD, and no I don't want to use cracks, because it's so buggy.

So Rage team are we going to get some assistance or forever left ignored? c'mon i waited so long, left my PC running overnight to download it waited 16 hours between it delays and now it just doesn't work!

Oh and, btw. If you created a copy of EFLC for VCR, you have to add the Folder into REGEDIT, because without the REGEDIT Settings, EFLC is going to start TBoGT, and might crash.

How do you get work of mod? For me game stop at 'Starting New Game'.

Aha! It doesn't crash when loading TBoGT anyway but that regedit fixed it, they should include a tutorial or an auto-fix for that . Using the original Steam directory also works. To anyone who crashes on starting a new game, make sure you've removed all savegames from the Xliveless savegames folder (my documents\rockstar games\savegames)

Renamed EFLC to ELFCorig, renamed VC RAGE folder to EFLC

 

Let's see if it works now

 

For god's sake, does it check all the files every time?

 

EDIT: 1 step further. It isn't trying to load TBOGT any more, but it crashed within a second of clicking Start.

Bug: when reinstalling Vice City Rage the game does not recognise if you've already created an account. The game asks you to type in your Nickname and then says you need to create an account. You enter your password and the account is recreated. This means that anyone could simply overwrite your account if they wanted to.

i hate the fact that you've restricted the game to yours game 'launcher', which checks game files.

the content that you've used is created by Rockstar Games.

in conclusion: you are keeping us from modifying the game and going to the second island as if you have rights to do so. 'game boundaries' ...

Feedback: OHMAf*ckINGGOD! Everything is great, a few rail collision bugs but the races are amazing and the map conversion is awesome! Atmosphere is great, f*cking love it . Only few things that bug me about the mod themselves are the radio bug, the fact that if you hold W while the race timer counts down you wont set off when it says 'go', and that the AI is quite easy to beat in races. Would also be nice to compare your record to other world records in the game, currently you can only see your own record.

not working correctly for me

 

ok when i launch the game it starts up ok with all the vice city rage logo and stuff but after clicking on play in the menu it shows up as the ballad of gay tony with its logo and loading screen but when the game starts so i can play its still just ballad of gay tony except the icons, theres the only thing it changed

 

can any one help. i followed install instructions, running win 7 64bit. my gta elc is the steam version.

It's impossible to release bug-free and stable Total Conversion at first shot.

EDIT: Bug, fall through beach on foot at random spots.

EDIT2: When you walk around and can hear cars in the distance, you can hear EFLC radio playing. It would be best to remove EFLC's radio stations from the VC Rage directory.
