so the vcredist tells me I have a newer version than being supplied, I'm assuming thats ok... I wish I would have thought to set up the custom folder last night because now theres a bit of work getting this going!

Blaster, does the installer check if EFLC is installed? Is it simply a file name check or what?

Move the DLL intro your System32 Folder.. Open CMD as Administrator and type "regsvr32.exe MVSP100.dll" and it should work.

ok here is my problem... because you didn't make an installer despite the long delays i can't fully install the mod because well i have 3 GTA IV ELFC directories in Steam,

If i install the update god knows which one it actually updates

something wrong with launchVCR.exe it's 'moddoed'

 

I got this too after restarting the game, looks like when it creates the 'LaunchVCR_new' file it detects the original exe as being modified. Main issue is that the Steam version seems to load from the Steam EFLC directory no matter what, currently recopying my folder since I tried to fix it by modding a file, then I'll try putting VCR in the original Steam EFLC directory and see what happens.

Finally! Now i can install VCR on my GPC..

Yes i'm still using Windows XP on this machine.. But it still works fine with the Hardware

I can't get much faster download speed than 30 kB/s per second, i've heard that specifying certain up/down settiings sometimes/somehow helps, anyone got any info to up my/other users speed?

(my internet connection isn't awesome but it isn't crap, i can get direct download speeds far far faster so 30 kB/s shouldn't be a limit)
