Very true. I really want to see that in Rage.

You guys should do what IV:SA is doing for Beta 3. You have the original VC stuff with all the original trees, then you have a HD one with a more realistic timecyc, and better trees. But I really want to see the swamp island added to this. As an addon ofcourse. The original Vice City should of had that.

This mod requires EfLC version 1.1.2.0. But we all know that the latest patch significantly reduces the number of FPS, basically, "thanks to" the new shadows. For me (and for some other players too) it's not possible to enjoy Vice City with such FPS. Turning off shadows make it a lot smoother, but VC loses a lot in atmosphere without shadows.

So, is it vital for you, guys, to use this version of EFLC? Just as it seems to me, if you would make a version of VCR for stock version of EFLC, a lot of people who don't have hi-end PC's would be very grateful.

A. All versions of EFLC use the new shaders. Only GTA IV patch 5 and below use the old shaders.

B. The new shaders are better. You may get less FPS on very high with the new ones then you did with the old ones, because the new ones look better. HOWEVER, if you put it on high you get better FPS then you would on old shaders Very High. The high setting on the new shaders is the same graphic wise, as very high on the old shaders.

The mod works perfectly, but when i try to go to the video editor it does infinite loading.

i installed the hotfix and the devlauncher but the problem remains...

I repeat that the game works...but how can i use the editor?

He deleted the vc_main.asi, which desables the ped paths. The ped paths are LC ped paths so the peds fall and screem which is really annoying. Thats why I desable them with the trainer in this mod.

U use SNT,

 

open trainer.ini

 

search for 'NoPeds' set the value to 1.

 

problem solved.

Hey, when tommy loads nothing more appears, there's no city and when i try to use some weapon tommy doesn`t fire. any solution? sorry for my bad english, thanks!

Also due to reports about decrease in FPS because of big number of ASI files (scripts) in order to optimize a work of these scripts HUD was reworked into single ASI script "vc_hud.asi".

Thanks. But I don't think about such an update. I'm thinking more about updating money system itself.

I don't have any plans to use mobile phones.

Then he would replace the 3d mobile phone with the one from VC,

 

I believe the phone you pop up in the right bottom on the screen is a 'image' and not a actual model. (it certainly is unrelated to the actual 3d phone)

Yes it is an 3D moddel wich could be simply replaced and the phone on the right bottom is an dds file wich if you convert to a PNG you can easly edit to an Nokia or to an iPhone lol.

 

He shouldn't be so mad and be like someone like you smile.gif
