this is not your property you cannot tell anyone wheather they want to use a trainer or not, this is a modification a conversion of something you don't own you have no right to tell us how to play OUR game with something you converted, if this was a game you made yourself then you would have every right to do this but you don't you are basically taking over something you don't even own.

@ VCR Team, people want to cheat to make the game fun, not to go against your rules.

You've done a great mod but it has unnecessary security.

I don't get it, I fixed my problem by again choosing 1 (video editor) then the game loaded and crashed, now I am able to go ingame normally when not selecting 1 (ie play).

 

Why on earth are you doing it this way is beyond me anyway. Why don't you allow access to the video editor in game ?

 

all it takes is this simple line of code:

 

ActivateReplayMenu();

Activating HUD causes problems with Video Editor interface. So we had to do such a way of opening Video Editor.

Hmm, not sure why to be honest, the guys from IVSA don't seem to having issue displaying the hud AND enabling the video editor in game, maybe you should ask flits ?

 

In any case, I crash when opening the video editor in this way, whilst opening it up in game by using the code I supllied you doesn't seem to have any troubles. I am running the radio mod that I developed for GTAIVSA on this mod, and I can open up the video editor in game without problems and return to the game.

Your conversion is working for some but for me it simply crashes Grand theft auto IV Episodes from liberty city after the initial load screen. If you are trying to solve this issue then god i really wonder why i posted this around 10 times and every time i got ignored the **** out,

Ok, I start launcher, press 1, game launches, then I get to the normal startup screen (with the disabled and Vice IV logo's) presss enter at the vice IV logo, soon afterwards I crash to desktop.

If you're using Steam make sure you don't chat on Steam while opening the mod. I don't know why but when I was chatting to someone while the mod loaded the map disappeared.

Not Steam version, absolutely legit. (And I don't use Steam at all..) Also, when I want to start with Video Editor, the game won't load. Luckily enough I don't need that sh*t, but still I get nothing Never mind. Keep up the good work with the mod!

Did you read my post some time ago, try launching it again by pressing 1 and then once it loads or crashes, try again to launch the game normally, this is what I had to do as well to get around this issue.

Did you read my post some time ago, try launching it again by pressing 1 and then once it loads or crashes, try again to launch the game normally, this is what I had to do as well to get around this issue.

If I press 1, it doesn't opens the video editor but what happens is the game launches normally. Then when I press Play, one load screen appears and after that it keeps on saying "STARTING A NEW GAME".

My stripped version works both on my laptop and desktop and is 1,08 GB rar'ed.

As clarification, it contains a Setup. After copying (clean EFLC required) and installing, the VCR folder will be around 6,50 GB.

so does it work without the launcher?

There's a launcher that updates the registry and then runs LaunchVCR.exe.

Wrong. The map files are 422 MB. The sound files, vehicles and stuff makes the mod big.

@VCR Team: After installating it with my installer on my desktop, it runs very smooth. 60+ FPS, where IV and IVSA usually had less than 40. Nice colors and the race script is impressive.

Apart from some design flaws like the HUD and fonts, it's pretty nice.

I found ONE actual path in the registry which I edited to LaunchVCR.exe. Still doesn't work.

 

I have EFLC installed on a different drive: D:\Games\Rockstar Games\EFLC\... so not the default Program Files folder. Could you please be more specific?
