my idea was simple take out the map files put them in like any other modded map then adjust the gta.dat

basically the files are added ontop of the game like added cars the launcher makes it all work without the launcher it will just load the regular map files but since the regular map files are disabled it will load nothing

 

the mod is ontop of the game and not inside it it is the launcher that makes the mod work at all

 

my idea was simple take out the map files put them in like any other modded map then adjust the gta.dat

 

content.dat is the same file as gta.dat just made up to work with the launcher

The Delayed lines are in the normal content.dat. Their on the console version of EFLC as well.

would you mind doing the same for eflc port it to eflc without the need of the launcher i sortof get some of it but still not all

 

it seems the content file mixes the lines together

 

first ipl second ide if i do that with the map lines

Also remember to copy the VCR map files to pc/data/maps. You can find them for the offical VCR release in TBoGT/VCR/pc/data/maps/. Good luck smile.gif

 

Edit: Shouldnt be that hard to do for the EFLC port. Ill look into it later. Ill get it so the launcher is an updater.

The radio script has a bug as well by the way, whenever I enter a car the stock IV radio is playing alongside the VC stations. This should be fixed by making sure whenever the player enters the car, to set the stock radio off, or even call it continuously whenever player is detected in any car.

 

Oh and whilst I am on the subject of QA, I don't get these race icons, do they not all work, or do I have to do something to invoke them. I can see them, but when I got to one of them, nothing happens, no pickup seems to be present, and yes I am running completely vanilla now.

I noticed this bug too,I still hearing electro choc(the crookers mix)

honestly,I had fun when I was listening to this mixed radio

Yes,but if you start you will take over a mounth,then DELAYED,DELAYED,DELAYED,you gonna make us wait all the night,release,Crash,IV stopped working,comptability problems,Black cmd... confused.gif

LODs for cars are badly done (author of conversions used VC LOD). It doesn't fit to IV. I'll fix it ASAP smile.gif

I'd like to suggest something if i may: Since you don't premit trainers, can you atleast make spawn points for all the weapons behind the ocean view hotel until you make all the original spawn points and/or weapon shops?

Works for me now. Next time I will immediatly copy the -files- from /EFLC Export/ to the /Rockstar Games/EFLC/ map instead of copying the map /EFLC Export/ to the /Rockstar Games/EFLC/ map. lol.gif

another attempt this time i removed VCR from the lines and then put all files in TBoGT instead of the VCR folder

 

basically put everything from the vcr folder in the (TBoGT) folder

Yes,but if you start you will take over a mounth,then DELAYED,DELAYED,DELAYED,you gonna make us wait all the night,release,Crash,IV stopped working,comptability problems,Black cmd... confused.gif

But if your hands at the right place and you install it you can enjoy the stable and a good game with races and everyday updating stuff that we are fixing and adding new stuff. Ehm... moto_whistle.gif

or do like the saiv team make a real launcher thats not needed to make it work just makes it easier to start and add the update option to that one

 

the launcher you have now is the worst thing i have ever seen i mean it is like a batfile awful in every way

anyone can make a better one but thats not really the reason to hate it the reason to hate it is that it is needed to make the game run at all thats why we ALL hate it

 

let me put that in big letters

 

EVERYONE HERE HATES THE LAUNCHER AND WANTS IT GONE

 

and heres the easy stepguide to save your sinking ship

 

1.rework the launcer nice menu maybe

 

2.rework the mod so it works without the launcher

 

3.let the player decide if he/she wants to be in "statistics" pressing yes then theres a good reason to block the trainer pressing no will NOT block the trainer

 

do not FORCE people to be in some statistics noone cares about i think i speak for all in this thread when i say this WE HATE THE LAUNCHER
