i want to know how to make mods for san andreas.

 

i'm not talking about how to install mods from softwares like sami v1.1, img editor 2.0 etc etc.

 

i wan to know how to make our own mods and which softwares are needed for making it.

At first ou must learn to find the information by yourself.

The forum have a tutorial section, please look there for information

take enough time to look careful and consider always the date of the posts

and look in Mod Showroom >> Tools or at gtagarage.com for tools

 

use also google with proper search words like: gta sa mod tut

or: gta sa mod tool

there are tons of descriptions of different themes

modify handling, weapon.dat, create or convert 3d models or(and) textures

modify main.scm or write cleo script for script plugin

 

the most important tools are.

sannybuilder for main.scm or write cleo scripts (also helpful to edit every other text based files like carmod.dat etc.)

as well as several IMG-tools to change files inside the *.img archives like img manager of xmen (look in tool section)

note: install models of gta3.img with SAMI can cause bugs when you do much modications because SAMi don't rebuild the archive. You should run the function "Rebuild Archiv" with another IMG-tool

 

for 3d-moddeling you need either zmodeler or 3dMax with Kam's scriptplugin
