Because ive been playing Forza 4 since release day and i didn't even know the first DLC was available yet, much less what cars it featured. So i thought id post here incase anyone was in my boat. Rebel Posted November 4, 2011 Share Posted November 4, 2011 Just been trying to do some Rivals on the Top Gear track since its all the rival tracks I like and f*ck, I can't do the 150K races or even the 50K at this point. f*ck my friends who can use gear shift themselves I've been playing the events list and god its so much f*cking better than the World Tour. I was kind of hesitant at first before I started using it in Forza 2, but it's really quick to learn and you can shave off multiple seconds with it. I went right into it, the 8-bit characters all line up, the map on the car actually makes sense, the dots that are and aren't there follow a path... I was quite happy with the result. Here's my next piece of work. I was 75% complete last night (without saving) and had a blackout, so I called it quits and went to sleep. Since I got the game I've been battling and getting better and better, starting of with >10,000 drift points per lap, but I think I've now hit my 'wall'. 24,681 in one lap. Maple Valley. I just hit level 39, and really enjoying the game so far, though it's starting to feel quite repetitive, as with the previous games. Now that they've added the Suzuki SX4 Pike's Peak, a Ford F-150 which can be turned into a proper Trophy Truck, and with the Hummer and such present, a little offroad action wouldn't go amiss. That was the main thing that turned me off buying this game. When I was playing the demo itself, it grabbed me straightaway, with the graphical detail on the track, and the actual size of the track itself. Then I got to thinking about how this would be what I'm doing for all the game, as in FM3, which is only half-complete due to the 'repetitive' reason. I'm picking up FM4 for £20 at Xmas off a mate, which I thought was worth it. If it wasn't for that, I'd be putting this game off till next year some time, for when the game was around £15-20 in the shops. I am actually looking forward to this game, and not at all putting the game down completely, just the repetitiveness that can quickly set in on FM. The problem with the FM series is the variety in the game, which is minimal to say the least. I was pretty pissed when they took the night-time racing out of the game. That was one of the features that I remember everyone getting hyped about when the game was in early stages. We need to see some form of Rally events added to the game as well, as we see in GT.
