JOSEPH X
Anyone know why the last dragon I killed didn't turn into skeleton and give me a soul? He was a pain in the ass too. It's happened to me, I just got the loot. OMFG! I just went into a cave and it's stupendous, awe inspiring, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Lethal Nizzle
I'm enjoying this second playthrough as an Orc a lot more than my Nord playthrough. Currently Level 10, haven't even visited the Greybeards yet as I'm too busy being a soldier for the Imperial Legion, nearing the end of my career I believe as I am currently based in the Winterhold Camp. Orcish Warhammer is unreal as well, most enemies don't stand a chance.

meta187
Has anyone found The Silver Sword of Soul Raping yet? Well you wont, because I made it myself. Fills up soul gems, and kill cams in bleu I've found a few swords that function like Umbra used to, I just need a good steady line of Soul Gems to feed my habit until I get Azura's Star. Learning enchanting seems like a logical choice after filling out Blacksmithing but I'm a bit too invested in the other skill trees to start it now I think, since 50 is sort of the unofficial cap in this game at 39 I have to start making some careful choices. @Voodoo: There's some Tavern Clothing in the game, I think you'd find particularly nice. And you're right you can't buy the furnishings till you read the book. SIKKS66
Gah, I'm so lame. Level 7 and I haven't invested in a perk cause I don't know what to specialize in. Funny moment earlier. Being chased by a big cat that was kicking my ass, thought I'd lead it down to a main road where a guard might give me a hand taking it down. I did get some help getting away. By a thief lurking around ready to rob me. Unfortunately for him, being bitten in the face can have a detrimental effect on one's criminal career Poor bastard didn't know what hit him. One of my companions just got f*cked up when she was carrying a bunch of my gear I planned to sell. Lugged it back to Whiterun by horse but I don't have the coins to buy a house, so I thought of shoving it all in a barrel or crate for the time being, or maybe putting it all in a cupboard at Riverwood. I just don't want it getting reset and removed or disappearing.
JOSEPH X
Gah, I'm so lame. Level 7 and I haven't invested in a perk cause I don't know what to specialize in. When you pick a race you're already on the road to specialisation. But it's how you play it anyway - levelling up each skill as you go. I have radically changed my style since meeting up with Marcurio. I was heavily into two handed and destruction before but now I'm Sword, Shield, Bow. I have given Marcurio all the staffs which he was using and I also gave him all the scrolls. It's great! You can have all the magic and see all the crazy effects, but don't have to keep stopping to pick a spell. baptiste
I know some of them are safe, the one I use in the companions place in Whiterun keeps my sh*t. I wouldnt know if theres some unsafe ones though. Man, I didnt realize the basic route to high hrothgar was all the way on the other side of the mountain from that small town. I f*cking scaled that moutain from the opposite side like a f*cking boss, took me like 25 minutes. Just got there at lvl19 or so, just been doing side quests and sh*t. SIKKS66
I was concerned about containers too and didn't want to risk shared ones. The first home in Whiterun is actually pretty cheap. Selling loot and an hour or so of cutting wood and you should be able to afford it. A reply I got to a similar question recommended saving your items in the home of any companions you get. Faendal in Riverwood being an early example. Hope that helps! I've toyed around with two-handed and sword and board and I've found the latter to be more effective. Going to give dual-wield a go and see how that goes. I must say I am LOVING archery in Skyrim. I cleared out almost an entire bandit hideout earlier by raining death down from a mountain besides their compound. The bandit leader wanted a fight so I had to kill her the old fashioned way with an axe to the face. Moment of awesomeness: after clearing said hideout, I found most of the corpses happened to be on a bridge over a raging river. Stripped each corpse and proceeded to throw their lifeless bodies into the torrents below. Mwuahahahaha LOVE SKYRIM. One thing I wish they had included (which they never where, it's just my sick mind...) is the ability to behead everything you kill. Would have been ace to put a bunch of gory trophies in my home. A pile of bloody bandit heads greeting me on my return home and a giant dragon's head in my kitchen. Maybe the next game?

Well there are 5 heads that you can decorate your house with, though you need to give one up. Do most of the compaion quests, and you will fight these half woman half bird things, and you can take their heads with you Formerly known as The General

Also, there is a perk in One Hand that gives you a random chance to behead your enemy with a power attack. Not sure if there head becomes a item you can carry afterwards in your inventory but you could drag it back to the house if you were patient enough, I suppose. I'd been crashing at Faendal's till about two days back when I finally broke down and bought the house in Whiterun. I didn't even bother taking his key, I liked getting the lockpicking bonus every time I broke back in. And yes, archery is way better now. Most of the damage I've done on dragon's have been from critical arrow strikes. *I kind of wish there was a tutorial of sorts in power attacks. I mean you wouldn't even know they were there if you hadn't played Oblivion. Forty
I love how bad ass the archery is in this game. I've found myself using that more than anything else, with destruction magic coming in 2nd. I use almost no melee. There's a perk in the Sneak tree that allows you to slice someone's neck from behind by giving a 15x multiplier to sneak melee attacks. I do wish that you could dismember bodies in this game like in Fallout, but I'm ok not having it. It is not a negative at all. This is the most fantastic game I have played in ages. I can't put it down.

JOSEPH X
I've got that perk. You can toy around with the head physically, but you can't itemise it in your inventory. I've had the perk a few hours now but only one decapitation. I bet somebody makes a gargantuan effort and drags...wait, no you won't be able to put it in your home - there's a load screen. Best bet would be to bring home a follower and decapitate them in your own home. I think I'll save that for my necromantic vampire playthru. SIKKS66
Nah I figured out I wouldn't be able to carry heads and corpses home back on Fallout. I'm depraved, I know. I found a troll skull in a cave though! It's a start. I'd have liked a bit more gore in the game à la Fallout but it's not that big an issue really. Would have made melee combat feel a bit more dangerous if arms and legs were hacked off. Still, the killcam butchery of power moves makes up for that I guess. Chaise
been playing for two days now and gotta say it's one of the best games i've ever played Only complaint is that trying to get to certain places can be confusing and find myself goin the wrong way alot, otherwise perfect game. Literally do this. Buy up all the leather and iron ingots you can manage and just make iron daggers over and over again, your smithing level climbs pretty dramatically. I'm maxed at 100 now. Forty
I think I'll save that for my necromantic vampire playthru. What sort of vampire things are in the game? I found some vampire dust in an alchemy lab but that's all so far- not sure what to do with it yet. I haven't seen anything else. This is the most fantastic game I have played in ages. Yeah, thats my biggest annoyance... Aye, I've been having that issue also. But it is indeed a minor gripe. I guess if we were talking minor gripes, another issue I have is that on the final mission for the Companions, which is supposed to be my trial for entry, and everyone makes a huge deal out of it being MY mission, f*cking Farkas kept running in front of me and attacking everyone I'm shooting arrows and fireballs at. He's supposed to be there to observe me and help when needed, and he kept stealing my kills. Got on my nerves a bit, but again, very minor.
