blitz
Marriage is pretty lame. If you have a spouse that owns a shop, they'll give you money everyday, but other than that and maybe a homecooked meal, there's nothing really to it. Well, pretty much. The only reason why I tend to get married is because of the house most spouses bring with them.
Mati
Well, I've almost hit 70 hours with my second character after deleting my first one. Finished the Thieves Guild, destroyed the DB and won the civil war on the Imperial side liked it much more than the Stormcloak side. I'm level 42 after grinding a few skills. I haven't progressed with the MQ after Whiterun. I didn't plan to even touch the MQ but I was forced to in the civil war questline. I think I'll hit 150 hours by doing other sh*t before I start my new character. Maven, the new thane of Rifton doesn't seem to want to sit on her throne so maybe I'm going to roleplay a Jarl I'll break into her house and find some evidence of her corruption, then report it to the other Jarls. She'll be kicked and the ruling of The Rift will be left for me.

darthYENIK
Marriage is pretty lame. If you have a spouse that owns a shop, they'll give you money everyday, but other than that and maybe a homecooked meal, there's nothing really to it. Yeah it's mostly useless. I married this chick Muiri who you meet on a Dark Brotherhood quest and she asks you to kill someone for her, and afterward she's available to marry. But then she glitched out and the only thing she would ever say was "Thanks for taking care of my....problem" over and over even though, in Skyrim terms, that was years ago and we're f*cking married now. So I killed her and left her body by the fire in Breezehome. f*ck her. You're in the Dark Brotherhood, you should like creepy sh*t like that. Don Garcia
So here's a new one. Apparently repo men have visited Breezehome while I was away. Or rather, while my 360 was shut off. When I last saved, my home was normal. When I loaded, most of my furniture was gone. All the bowls and plates that sat on the tables are now on the floor, sans tables. The top barrel behind the stairs is floating in the air alone. My fire pit is gone, along with one of the chairs beside it. And walls have disappeared. But the doors to the little alchemy room are still there, so they serve no purpose. And it's dark in here. The Dark Brotherhood have failed repeatedly at killing me, so they must've used their dark magic to make this happen. f*ck?
SIKKS66
Thats happened to me. Reloaded immediately and it seemed to fix it. If it's bugged and you've saved since, might be f*cked permanently. Reload an old save (save often is a law, not a recommendation with Bethesda games) and see if your home is fixed there. I've noticed a whole load of corpses have disappeared since I patched. A shame. I liked revisiting old battlegrounds and seeing the destruction I'd left
Don Garcia
f*ck it, I've made a sh*tload of potions since I loaded. Not reloading and doing it all again. If it's permanent, I'm moving out.
fireguy109
I feel like one of those door-to-door encyclopedia salesmen from the 90s. I spent a few minutes hanging out with some skeletons south of Winterhold and as such I have over 250 copies of "The Doors of Oblivion" that I'm trying to sell. Already made a couple grand off the last run.

If you do the Thieves Guild quests you will unlock three fences around Skyrim that let you sell stolen items. Stolen items could at one point be glitched by dropping them, making a follower pick it up, and taking it back from them. I don't know if that still works. Otherwise you can only sell them to a fence once you reach that part in the quest line. Marriage is pretty lame. I left her body by the chair where she was reading, and the flames glowing on her face from the nearby fire. I step over her every time I come home. It's where she belongs. She's happy there. Creed Bratton
Alright. I'm done with postponing the inevitable. Nostalgia aside, it's time for me to admit that Skyrim is better than Morrowind. Yes, I said it. It's Skyrim>Morrowind>Oblivion. Nostalgia should never count as a factor.

Although, I can't comment about Oblivion since I haven't played it? If Morrowind and Oblivion are avaliable on Steam I might see if I can buy them it has been ages since I have played Morrowind. King Of Monra
My "axe of whiterun" is daedric. fireguy109
Hmm. Encountered my first bug today. I was just walking through Whiterun and I jumped on the little well in the center of town. Next thing I knew, I was forced underneath the town and now I'm stuck there. I can move the camera but the character is stuck. Sucks, because I had just done a ton of smithing, and now I'll have to redo it all.

fireguy109
No, apparently I'm still falling, and you can't fast-travel while in the air. Interestingly enough, there's a few chests scattered around under the town.
Robinski
They're where shop inventories are stored. I had a similar experience when I was walking from the smithy to Breezehome in Whiterun while overencumbered (after smithing), I jumped onto the workbench and glitched through the floor somehow. I was lucky enough to, for some reason, just teleport back to ground level after falling for like 10 seconds though.
fireguy109
It's actually kind of neat down there. I took some pictures with my phone (LQ). After entering third person he stopped falling, so I was able to get away. E: Also, I finished the quest for Azura's Star. If you haven't already gotten it you should, you get an unbreakable Grand Soul Gem (well, its equivalent - the item is called "Azura's Star") and if you speak to the elf instead of the priest you can get it in a Dark variation that can store human souls. I've been using it in my enchanting with mammoth souls. Edited January 28, 2012 by fireguy109
Don Garcia
So it's possible to glitch to the nether realm under the stores and then rob them of their inventory from those chests? HMMMMMM...
Cheat
So it's possible to glitch to the nether realm under the stores and then rob them of their inventory from those chests? HMMMMMM... Since you put it that way, it is an interesting concept. I'm feeling like I fail to keep up with some aspects of the game - I can pretty much sneak without crouching and pickpocket your clothes off, but then again even a rather incapable mage feels insurmountable. I was able to keep my skills somewhat in balance while leveling up back when it was all about weapons, armor and thieving abilities but it seems like neglecting magic is starting to backfire. I should probably head to Windhelm and invest in some education.
Daz
Ok im sick of searching. When is it that you gain access to Daedric weapons and armor. I am level 54, done most of the quests all but a small part of all the guilds, half wayish through the main story, I have only found daedric arrows. I do not have the daedric smithing perk as I dont want it, and I cant use the Atronach forge yet. Do I have to have the smithing perk to find them in random loot and shops? vertical limit
Your smithing level has to be 90 or more then you get the perk to unlock it. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Daedric_Armor_(Skyrim) Is the dragon armour any good?
