meta187
The different kill animations are a great reason to change up your weapons or try different character builds. I love being surprised by a new one I haven't seen. My favorite thing in the world is that dual sword wield scissor cut decapitation. Nothing is more visually bad ass than chopping the head off a ghost. ~ Studio: Q-13 Lounge / Q:13 Warrior Tunes / Interweb Chex Mix, yo.~

Jake
Some of my bow shots are so powerful that enemies fly ten feet into the air. After being bounced around on nearby objects. Level 65 now.
Don Garcia
I crapped out on my level 68 Khajiit and started over as a Breton. Trying to make it rain magic in this bitch. Level 10 now, killed my first wild dragon a little wild ago, felt like a MAN, and then got my dick punched into the ground by a wisp mother. There's definitely a discrepancy between the difficulty of killing the almighty dragon and just another creature. I cleared out the mine for those miners near Markarth. Those Forsworn are annoying f*ckers. I couldn't have survived a lot of battles without Lydia and mah straaaay dog. We're making a nice little trio right now. Being broke and weak makes the game fun again.
Greenline
RIP Lydia. I just made a shrine for her in Breezehome. I put her Dwarven helmet on her bed and I added a quill and some dragon scales to it. She died for knowledge and information about the Dwemer. May she rest in peace. Quiteso
Just killed my third dragon, climbed to the Throat of the World by spamming the jump button, and finished up almost a dozen misc and side quests. What's everyone's favorite house? Personally, mine is Whiterun. No matter how many places I have (added Markarth yesterday) Whiterun is the only one that feels like a home. Even though it takes a bit longer to do enchanting or fence goods I think Skyrim's equivalent of the Northern Lights makes up for it at night. Too bad it doesn't have more bookshelves though. Whiterun's the only place that really feels like home to me too, I keep coming back to it. That and Riverwood. I only own Breezehome at the moment but I wanna buy a new one soon so I can have my very own enchanting lab... not sure which house to go for though. Windhelm house looks practical and large but I don't really like the location. The Riften house looks very lovely though, what with it's garden and porch and all... I might go for that one. Speaking of killcams, I recently discovered there are killcams for dragons. I had no idea, so when my guy jumped on the dragon's head and wrestled it down and impaled it with his sword, I was left feeling pretty damn awesome. .2D
Man, it's been a while since I had a good session on Skyrim. I'm afriad to play it again now because I know that if I do, I wont get outside for the next month. F*ck it, I'm going on Skyrim. Who needs fresh air anyway? Robinski
On my first two playthroughs I always felt that Breezehome was my home base. It was pretty much by deafult though: it's closest to the start of the game, cheapest and has a quest that i was going to do anyway to get it. That's why on this new mage playthrough I've purposefully not bought it and instead made my dorm room at the college my base. I'm only going to move out once I get the arch mage's quarters (you do get those, right?) or once I can afford the mansion in Solitude. On the subject of finishers, I remember when I found out there were one for dragons. It was when a guard outside Riften got lucky and did the last hit, he swung up on it's horns onto its head and plunged his sword through its skull. In other news, Storm Call is definitely the most metal of the shouts.
JOSEPH X
On the subject of finishers, I remember when I found out there were one for dragons. It was when a guard outside Riften got lucky and did the last hit, he swung up on it's horns onto its head and plunged his sword through its skull... ...then he climbed down and said, "My cousin's out fighting dragons, what do I get? Guard duty!" The College quarters aren't very good. I moved in then moved everything back to Markarth on my Mage. I've decide not to buy any filled soul gems or buy any weapons on this Bosmer playthru. Reached level 22 solely from what is available in Falkreath, living in the pub and selling all my loot. I just love that alpine area high above the town around Angi's Cabin. My soul trapping weapon is The Sword of Falkreath which I earned as Thane, so I've been hunting Mammoths on the Tundra. I picked up Feandal just before as an extra bow.. managed to bag three grand souls from mammoths by whittling down their health then dealing the final blow with the sword. Came across a funny world event - two bandits just north of Whiterun had reached a bit of an impasse with two giants and their Mammoth. The stupid bandits actually went for it, and attacked. No pizes for guessing how it ended up - this guy ended up in outer space ..that's what you call a double whammy. Gonna make myself a soul trapping bow, then head up to High Hrothger. Marlowe.
I'm a college man. My Nord parents are so proud. Granted, Winterhold was only a safety, but still. And yes its Magic U, but my parents aren't racist biggots. They accept my choice to experiment with all kinds of magic. One note: The student-to-teacher ratio is magnificent. No child will be left behind here. I'm currently on a quest to retrieve 'The Staff of Magnus' for a little project the college has me working on. It's hush-hush, very top secret. Oh, and I've also wed. Her name's Ysolda. She's kind of plain, but a great cook and an animal in the sack. She wants kids, but sadly I'm sterile, from all the magic shocks I've absorbed to the groin, so we will have to adopt. Until then, I have brought her a pet chicken to keep her company while I'm gone. mrpain
What's everyone's favorite house? Like Rob, it used to be Breezehome for my first character because it's just so easily accessible. But for my second character it has to be Honeyside at Riften. I love the garden and the door leading to the outside lake is just superbly splendid. JOSEPH X
Sarethi Farm is a great home if you marry the Dark Elf. It has an alchemy lab in the cellar. Anyone else live in a spouse's house?
Greenline
Sarethi Farm is a great home if you marry the Dark Elf. It has an alchemy lab in the cellar. Anyone else live in a spouse's house? Nah, that sucks. It makes you feel all dependent and sh*t. (Although I don't know what I would do without my daily pocket money from my wife ) What's the best way to drop something onto a certain place, I'm really struggling with my Lydia shrine. I prayed to Arkay and begged for his help, but that was useless. Edited January 14, 2012 by Greenline

Daz
I recently oversmithed my Blades Sword and got it to 209 damage. Not sure which would then work best, that with the +115% one handed damage on clothing, or using the dark brotherhood gloves which doubles the sneak damage. Or to then use a dagger instead. Either way I am getting 1254 damage per sneak hit. Or I could be doing 1740 per sneak hit with a dagger but then my normal non sneak attacks would only be doing a quater of the damage I do now. f*ckers can go mad on the OCD with these games. Secura
How do you get married and buy a house? Obtain an Amulet of Mara from the priest of Dibella in Rifton. Then go around talk to people and a special dialogue option will present it self, you must be wearing the amulet for this to happen. To purchase a house simply become the thane of Whiterun by running errands helping people or just get to the point in the MQ where you have to defend the guard tower from a dragon. Then you can buy the house known as Breezehome from the steward
Mati
Just wondering, when do dead bodies disappear? I think I have a plan how to keep the dead companions (or their undead forms) without console commands. The Ritual Stone revives all of the undead for a longer period of time, including dead followers. I don't know for how long exactly they stay awake though. Maybe I'd take Undead Faendal to my house and revive him here and then. If he would die again, I would simply wait till I can use the stone again and recover him. Creed Bratton
My favorite place is Breezehome as well. Being a thane in Whiterun does not make houses accesible everywhere. You need to be the thane of the city you want to buy the house in. Oh, and my favorite house is Honeyside.
