It's great if you CAN get online, and you can manage to upkeep an account, but SP is still most important, MP is just icing on that SP cake! They could improve animations on this series, I wonder, how many can they crank out on these gen systems while we wait for GTA number two on the consoles!??? Yeah, depends on the game though, FPS shooters are almost all about MP, but yeah it bothers me a little when nobody cares about the SP of a great game and just wanna play MP. If you ask me, The Facial Animations in Uncharted are among the best, unless they use mo-cap, the animations are not really going to get that much better, the white lines around the mouth bothers me a bit though. Freakorama Posted December 8, 2011 Share Posted December 8, 2011 Finished it in three sittings, the last part of the game I decided to finish when it was a sweltering hot day. Screw 3D, this is immersive. The game is still as good as it always was, although the ending kinda felt too much like the last game you find the hidden city, then it collapses as you run out but all the parts where drake is tripping balls were awesome, and when Sully suppository died my jaw was hanging open the entire time, I didn't believe it as much as drake didn't and was glad when I finally found he was alive. I did notice that Yeah as he journeys his wisdom increases, and so does his beard size, it is symbolic of wisdom. Ha seriously though, that could be it, or the Developers thought that as he journeys he becomes so caught up in his treasure hunting that he doesn't have time to shave, it consumes him. Or the developers just thought, hey lets put a beard on Nate because we can and it looks cool, but keep it within the storyline, look it could be any number of things the developers had in mind, but it was most definitely done on purpose for whatever reason. So im not the only one who noticed it, Noticed it in UC1 aswell. I guess when your off fighting in the wilderness or wadever you do whatever keeps you warm. Have you played the first or second Luke? Definitely check them out if not, you'll be able to get them pretty cheap - especially the first one. Got this courtesy of Christmas and started it up once family had left. Had to drag myself away an hour or so later but I've just got to the French forest. Playing it on normal difficulty mode, since I've played through the previous two and figured I'd be pretty good. Shooting seems to be a bit more difficult on this one, but perhaps I just need to get used to it again. Also, Nate's movement seems pretty poor. He seems to twist and turn and reach out arms a lot, seems a bit strange, but again, perhaps I just need to acclimatise myself with Uncharted once more. It made the rooftop chase in Cartagena (young Sully is pretty f*cking awesome, as is old Sully to be fair) pretty difficult, took me a few goes. The storyline itself, however, is shaping up to be pretty awesome - as I've come to expect from Uncharted by now. Managed to find a number of treasures already, which should save a bit of effort when I come to playing through it again. From the start of the game I was expecting it to be drake and sully with suits, out in the ocean on a sunny day with some babes by the pool. I have to say that even though Among Thieves (UC2) might be a better and more epic, this game is still a masterpiece. The whole series is one of the best ever and I hope that they create many more games. Too bad for XBOX users that it's a PS3 exclusive, because there aren't anything like this series on that console.
