Quiteso
So I have a machine running Linux, but I'd like to be able get it on the internet without having to ICS with my laptop! I'm wondering, though, if I bought some generic cheapish USB wireless adapter, would I have any problems installing drivers (with it being Linux), or would I be able to just plug it in go? I don't really know these things, so I wanna make sure Thanks!
james227uk
Depends. If you buy a popular one, then there's a fairly good chance linux (I'm assuming your using Ubuntu) will have the proprietary driver available
Ronnyboy
I've heard there's a list on the Ubuntu forums of working wireless adapters, if you wanna search for em.
