benMc
Right well trying to play Gta SA:MP through my steam version, i've done everything i have been asked to do while downloading, but when i try to go into a server it says " This application has failed to start because vorbisfile.dll was not found." But in the same folder as SA:MP there is a vorbisfile.dll When this shows up, it then says there is a problem with GTA SA:MP and then closes its window. Please help. In the GTA San Andreas folder, is there a vorbis.dll? What specs do you have? lil weasel
I'm talking without real knowledge, But, I thought the Steam (Version 3) wasn't moddable for use as SA:MP. Try getting a disc version 2. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/464705-gtasa-multiplayer-steam/#findComment-1060237689 Share on other sites

lil weasel
Downgrading is a naughty subject on this forum. It’s fine to suggest downgrading the game. However, what I really suggest is refraining from indulging in discussions about it or providing download links. Let me rephrase myself. It is fine to downgrade the game but we do not allow discussions pertaining to downgraders (on how to obtain it and such) as it goes against our forum policy since R* does not support it and we support R*. If you wish to downgrade your game, then you're on your own and we won't help you with it. If you wish to discuss downgraders, you'll have to find a different place. Sorry. radioman
You'll have to get V2(the Retail DVD version) to downgrade for mods and MP, as V3(the Steam version) is NOT moddable nor is it downgradeable from what I have read...The MP is only for V1 and will not work on V3..Just a heads up...
