HollywoodPlaya Posted December 7, 2010 Share Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) When i installed the newest patch for gta 4, i click Launch gta 4 exe and it just shows a black box then it disappears, i would like to know why that happens and maybe i installed the patch wrong? maybe it should be in a certain folder? OverTheBelow Posted December 7, 2010 Share Posted December 7, 2010 Sounds like it hasn't patched properly. Try again or otherwise reinstall then patch. I also suggest you buy the game if you haven't already; a number of problems like this are caused by having the fake version. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DocMenach Posted December 15, 2010 Share Posted December 15, 2010 My game was also refusing to launch after installing 1.0.7.0. It would check for disc, then do nothing. No error message.
