I voted for NFS even though I haven't played any of the next games after Carbon. I was thinking of replaying some of the games, starting with the first one. The memories of me playing these games bring a tear to my eye.

Also, I would have gone for Pole Position had not I seen grand theft auto up there. IV's driving mechanic is so much better to my cinematic taste than any racing simulator.

I voted for Collin McRae, i love Rally. Second from that would of been GT then Forza. Where's Live For Speed though? It's a great game.

It was a tie between NFS and Midnight Club but I voted for NFS cause I played every NFS and only one MC.

I just love racing games, GT, TDU, NFS, Midnight Club, Grid, Colin McRae rally, and Dirt, I love the classics too, like Pole position, and Outrun.

It is but is it just me or is the ffb in lfs is a bit, well.. crap? I dunno maybe I should have spent more time with it. It's really fun though, and the mods make up for the fake branded cars, unfortunately I was only able to play the 'off-line' version.

Since I didn't say why I chose tdu, I guess this sums up why I like tdu so much, taken by cdubdwi who usually films cruises and all that sh*t, and I'm the black & silver viper in the video(aside from the black viper in the end).

 

Its a racing game that can be relaxing and a bit exciting at the same time, and has the best replay value I've seen in a racing game yet, you can be cruising along with 7 other people or racing with the next white pors.. I mean ruf right next to you... assuming you have the megapack, which up until to this day is $20 which is why I still haven't bought it because it doesn't seem worthy now, especially since tdu2 is coming out soon.

 

I bought tdu last dec and still been playing it at least a couple of times a week up until this day.

Los Angeles is my favourite city on the planet, so for that reason I'd say it's probably Midnight Club ('cause of Midnight Club: LA), but I voted for Gran Turismo. I don't have a PS3 and I haven't played either GT4 or GT5, but I adored GT3 on the PS2; it was the second ever PlayStation 2 game I ever got, and the third ever video game which I played. Great memories.

 

Also a fan of the Formula One series, and Forza isn't too bad; I've currently got Forza 2 on the 360.

Its not crap, just old. Its been out since 2003 and it still holds it own against these new games. The fake branded cars is because they don't have the licenses for them. Besides, did you play with a mouse? Play it with a G25/G27.

My vote went to GTA. It's just too fun! I think the first year I played TDM online solidly, but once I got into the handling I hardly went on the combat modes at all. I have only played a few racers, GT, NFS, Forza, MCLA and PGR, but compared to GTA they're pretty monotonus

Twisted Metal is more a Battle Game than a Racing game but i still chose it.

 

Twisted Metal is and will always be the game that change the PS1 for me. I used to be a Nintendo 64 boy and when my friend came over with his PS1 and Twisted metal 2. Holyyy crap.

 

But For Real Racing, like laps and sh*t, that will go to Burnout. I love alot of the games on the list, but burnout just stands out there.

 

A racing game where the 2nd goal is to crash and burn!! That's Amazing.

I would've voted for NFS but some of the cr*p EA produced in the series is has let the franchise down. I'm glad that they've gone back to Hot Pursuit.

My vote was a toss up between NFS and Burnout, but I went for NFS. Mainly because the new NFS: Hot Pursuit game is so awesome. I love the fun, arcadey type racing games, while simulation racing like Gran Turismo and Forza just bore me to death, in my opinion.

 

I'm surprised GRID isn't on this poll, that was a pretty fun game.

NFS, GT, And MC are the best, although i voted for NFS. But where is the juiced option? That was also a great racing game for its time.
