Finn 7 five 11 Posted December 8, 2010 Share Posted December 8, 2010 I still think that when we make assumptions we should use different words, instead of Rock-star should have announced GTA V by now, I would have expected Rock-Star to announce GTA V by now. We all have little idea what goes inside the Rock-Star offices, so we cannot really say what rock-star should have done or when they should have finished this blah blah. I personally expected everyone here to be a bit more patient, it was released in april 13 2008, it is december 9th 2010 now, it has been 2 years and 8months just about since IV, realistically that is not really a long time, or it does not feel like a long time anyway, considering there is a lot more going on at rockstar than GTA V, i think all the members educated guesses of 2012ish is realistic number, but like the rest of you i really have no idea what rockstar has planned. IF they were using the exact same engine then next GTA should have been announced by now I don't think the engine is exactly the same, it has been upgraded or changed since GTA IV, so it is not the EXACT same engine. It was nearly three years between SA and IV. yeah i got it on ps2 lol still have it here , it didnt really seem that long , because SA was such a great game to play , i remember i got a ps3 just for gta IV and when it got delayed i went back to playing SA with no problems lol .so if it was like 4 yrs between SA and gta IV and now since it has only been 2yrs 8 months since IV came out ,then like eveyone is saying ,2012 is realistic ,so we should stop worrying for now ,and just try not to think about the next one lol atleast for 6months or so .
