DISCOVERED NEW WAY TO GET TO 2ND ISLAND EARLY

1. Start a new game or load game you have saved where second island isn't unlocked yet.

 

2.Go to the spot where you do the Yankee method.

 

3.Use the Stormy Weather cheat-left,down,L,R,right,up,left,triangle.

 

4.Jump in the water.

 

5.Position yourself under the pedestrian walkway.

 

6. Wait until the water makes a big wave and makes you go up and down.

 

7.At highest point press SQUARE and Vic should jump and grab the walkway.

 

8.You will be stuck. Move around and he should get unstuck.

 

9.Start jumping untill he is on the walkway.

 

10.Congradulations! You can now explore the second island freely.

 

NOTE: Don't jump in the water or it will drag you back to the other side and possibly kill you!

I HAVE DONE AND TESTED THIS OVER 20 TIMES AND IT WORKED EVERY TIME!

 

ALSO THIS IS THE FIRST POST I'VE MADE SINCE I SIGNED UP 3 MONTHS AGO.

One of these things requires you to enter a cheat while the other requires you to get an old PSP and install CFW. Hmm...

 

Shouldn't the cheat start with left-down?

I can't have cheat device because im currently on firmware v. 6.00.

But they are making custom firmware v. 6.10 GEN, 6.20 GEN and also making a 6.35 GEN.

There are cheatless methods for the PS2 and PSP for getting to the second island though, so this isn't very useful.

It's easier because you don't have to time where you jump and stuff like in the Yankee method.

Besides, it's just a cheat that changes the weather, not anything like the weapon cheats.

You don't need to cheat to get weather. If you really don't want to cheat, just wait for stormy weather to do it.
