I use a barely modded GTA, a manageable number of scripts, 12 GTA IV cars, Real palmtree mod, new fonts, weapons by GRIM and various conversions and 3-7 plugins, thats it.

Of course I try the latest big deals out especially scripts but since it got quiet on this area I play it very rarely though.

It's nice for there to be a topic that isn't about trying to figure stuff out We need more...

 

GTA San Andreas has become more like my education and I don't spend very much time actually playing it, which is a shame because I think there's still inspiration to be gained from playing the game a bit more. Mostly I just have my own mods. I find it easier (and more fun) to create something when I need it than download something of the internet.

 

 

Allow me to be a bit cheeky and answer the question by saying "If one of those mods is CD, you will probably be too distracted to spend much time on other mods for a while.".

 

 

Of course, if it's a Ryosuke mod, the more the merrier! My best experience since I started modding was when I first installed the gravity gun mod. Kept me entertained for 2 hours before I felt I had to continue with my work.

I agree with you! Mods that enable abilities from GTA SA Beta, VC or GTA3 ex Things to do in SA suit better to SA and make it better!

There is no real definitive answer. There are those, myself included, who feel that any amount of mods can make the game fun. However, there are those like lilweasel that feel and are religious to that the game is 100% fun from the start without mods.

I think GTA SA would just go to seed on my drive if Seemann didn´t make CLEO...

I have about 40 mods at my GTA now

Sometimes I have just fun with them
