Iffy50 Posted December 6, 2010 Share Posted December 6, 2010 I installed patch 7 last night and my GTA 4 promptly stopped working. This is a fault with the patch. To get it to work again: Go to your browser and open Disc 1. One of the folders is: RGSC Open this folder and run setup If rockstar games social club is running, the game will run. I fought with this stupid problem for a good hour and a half last night! Such a great game and the copy protection is HORRIBLE!! Someone should be hung, and it's not the progammers, it's the f*cking bean counters. If this helped you, please post here so it stays at the top. For other posters, please spread the word. Purple Kiwi Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 I installed Patch 1.0.7.0 With no errors, but If you use vista/7 Make sure Internet explorer 9 beta is uninstalled.
