Germaniac_84
Okay, so let me give you a little background information. I have a VAIO laptop model number VGN-NS328J I recently purchased EFLC for PC with the intent of using the in-game video editor to make videos obviously. Anyways, to make long story short I need a new graphics card and I was thinking about purchasing this one. I've read a few things that say its impossible to replace the graphics card in laptops because they're soldered to the motherboard. I just wanted to know if this was true or not, and if not how hard is it to replace it?
Ryan
Yeah, you're laptop has an a sh*tty integrated Intel Graphics Card. You're not going to be able to replace it with anything. One solution to getting a better video card is to upgrade to a desktop PC.
The Killa
Indeed, integrated means the video card is built into the motherboard, and cannot necessarily be replaced. You'll have to buy a new machine all together if you want to upgrade.
Germaniac_84
Damnit! Well thanks anyways for the help guys. Guess I'm gonna have to shell out a grand to get a good gaming PC. Another quick question, would EFLC run at all on my computer? I don't care if there's a lag or anything like that. Germaniac_84
Nah, it's not gonna work. Damn it to hell Well, thanks anyways Ryan. Edit: I dug up an old PC I own that barely works anymore. I plan on using it as a "cadaver" so I can learn more about computer stuff and how it all goes together. I guess it beats just throwing it away. Edited December 6, 2010 by Germaniac_84
