Posted December 5, 2010 Share Posted December 5, 2010 I have to say this movie has some Intense Action scenes and whilst it isn't the best of movies it is a relativley good film to watch, and highly underated. It is very sad, Bassicly the main character is a small time associate Joey Gazelle working for the Mafia in new york, and his neoughbours are people who have come from russia and have a son called Oleg. Oleg's father is infact a nephew of a Russian crime boss, and Oleg steals a gun from joey's house since he is a mobster. However that gun was used by joey's best friend Tommy in a failed drug deal and has been taken by this kid Oleg and it takes along night to recover that gun of mass importance, because if the cops get hold of it... The film has a peado scene in it which is as creepy as hell, and the film is based on crime, mainly based on the Italian-American mafia and Russian gangsters in new york. Eminence Posted December 5, 2010 Share Posted December 5, 2010 The paedo angle is definitely creepy sh*t. It was a good addition in my book, made the film kinda stand out a little. It's pretty average as a whole, nothing special, but one of those films you'd watch for the sake of it if you couldn't find anything better. The Grimm Fairy Tale theme laced into it is a pretty cool and subtle angle as well. Ziggy455 Posted December 5, 2010 Share Posted December 5, 2010 It's a pretty good movie. Has a dark grisly fairytale angl but the story, dialogue and acting was brilliant. I came across this one night and noticed I had it. I watched it and I definetly think it's a good film. One of Walker's bests really, it had a sort of GTA vibe in sense. I really love that film.
