The last Christmas special, the one with Christmas dinner at Denise and Dave's house was brilliant, the defrosting of the turkey, the 'Cup-a-soup with a twist' and the carrot crunch were all superbly written. (Dave reads out a trivia question, it is asking who stared in the Shawshank Redemption) Jim: Whats his name? Black fella with grey hair Barbara: Trevor McDonald! Was a shame that Caroline Aherne was being a bitch back in the day over money and no new episodes were getting made. The first series was really good but I think it should have stopped, how many more episodes of a family sat on a sofa all the time can you take? I took 1 series.
